Shame on you Bungie, holy hell what the duck were you thinking?? Once again pvp is running pve for no reason. Might as well shard it, oh wait you vaulted exotic shards.

17 RepliesI’m curious how their “data” showed a 30% usage for vex in high level pvp when I nearly never see it used lol. It’s not complained about really. Unjustified nerf in my opinion.

Probably just an excuse given by Bungie to cover the real reason. They have done this before, nerfing before releasing new content, usually to weapons that would break their hastily thought out mechanics.

This only nerfs it for pvp where it'll change its ttk. Having said that I feel like Vex was pretty low on the list of weapons that needed to be nerfed in pvp, it was about as strong as I'd want a raid exotic to be where it's decent but players who haven't gotten it aren't at a major disadvantage because without it (cough cough conditional finality hard countering bubble and well and therefore being almost mandatory for high-end trials teams because [i]someone[/i] thought it was a good idea to make trials permanently zone cap cough).

4 RepliesI don’t know why Bungie looked at a gun that’s only good for kill chaining in 6v6 and decided to actually NEUTER what made it feel good in the first place. Easily one of the most senseless nerfs in Destiny history.

4 RepliesIt’s now literally just a legendary 360 auto with rampage. It will now be garbage in crucible. The only thing that makes it remotely exotic is the linear firing mode. But you will rarely ever get the chance to use that in pvp. Bungie yet again nerfed something that was far from OP, had little usage, and was just fun.

They changed it to be 390 because the fire rate was buggy as -blam!- and it made it special, now they're reverting it back to 360 wtf😂

They had to nerf it to sell something new. New raid exotic that does something to similar to 360 Vex is arriving soon. Just a guess.

That gun was braindead in its prime, and it’s still a strong option. Nothing like watching your teammates die to give the Vex user 3 shots of a Linear. For all the grief that it’s caused, I really can’t say I feel bad about it getting nerfed. Sounds like a W to me.

13 RepliesThe thing that bothers me about this; it launched as a 360, it wasn’t good. They buffed it to be a 390 because when you got a kill it ramped up to 390. Now it’s just gonna be a 360… they reverted a buff. PvE damage aside, It’s gonna be kinda bad in PvP.

If they made Vex be an Auto Rifle in the files, we wouldn’t even have been in this mess. I blame Rain of Fire for this. Thing is, I haven’t seen that thing since Season of the Lost, and when I try using it, it just feels so inconsistent so I really don’t understand the RoF nerf.
