50% Price Increase for Season 21
Old price 1000 Silver. New price 1200 Silver but Silver can only be purchased at 500 increments minimum meaning you need to purchase 1500 to buy the 1200 Silver Season 21

12 RepliesFact #1: It's not a 50% increase, it's a 20% increase. It is only an effective 50% increase if you only buy 1 DLC, which you won't. Fact #2: If you are buying Seasons on a regular basis, just buy the Deluxe edition, best value if you are buying DLCs. Fact #3: If a $2 increase on a video game expansion that lasts 3 months is too much of an increase for you, you probably should re-evaluate your money management skills.

Getting sniped with an smg from 40m wile the players model in air then proceed to straff shoot wile every single shot is on traget (is not lucky or skill). Why stop cheating where there is no clear consequences PC and console 2000% have a cheating problem... Then Bungie go's and puts the price up on season 21 pass... It's completely astonishing just how utterly tone deff This company has become towards the community with each season it just gets more detached from their own core philosophy. Greed has taken over.

This is by design. There is no other reason not to be able to buy any specific amount of silver you wish, unless the goal is to get you to spend more than you need. This is the scummy things you'll see in free to play mobile games.

And the rewards for races were, and are, pitiful so it took eleventy million races to have enough funds for a DLC car. No one buys the micro transactions in Gran Turismo anymore. They took the community goodwill and flushed it down their gold plated toilet with their endless greed and overpriced tat. It's not like Destiny does that. On no, hang on. Remember back in the Taken King days when Eververse was introduced and anyone with more brain cells than fingers stood up and said it would take over the game ?? .. We were shouted down by the fanboys saying that Bungie would never do that and it would mean more content as that's where the funds are going. Yeah, if you believe that I have a bridge in London for sale. Interested ?? If Bungie's costs are rising and they need to bump a few quid on the cost .. fair enough. By doing it in a way that means people have to buy Silver they don't need .. Seriously Bungie get a grip, look at what happened in Gran Turismo 7. That community goodwill went and is not coming back soon. Do you think people wont notice that because, if you dont then you need to get a grip and if you do, and do it anyway, what does that say about the "community" you are always pretending to care about ?? Oh, and has no one from the BDF trotted out the "But if I buy a meal .." or "If you go to the Cinema .." trope yet ?? Because that's always funny.

If you bought it then & bought 4800silver before this change you would in essence have only to pay 83USD, which was cheaper then the digital deluxe edition at 99USD. A 20$ discount over the bundle basically. It could very well be this change is to address how the game ended up being cheaper then the digital deluxe edition for a limited time window so when the game goes on sale again no one can buy it for a cheaper then intended price. Also keep in might the game going on sale in such a short period is a big deal. Add on the fact people had a limited time window to buy every thing at a reduced price when the deluxe edition is suppose to be a "discount bundle" is a big deal and show Bungie did not make the money they intended too on lightfall.

I wasted $100 on Lightfall and as much as I loved and enjoyed previous versions of the game this made me sour. I can't see investing any more into the franchise time to move on.
