PSA: Free mods for everyone!
Haven't logged in yet today, but bungie posted that they will be unlocking all armor (and weapon?) Mods for all players! This does apparently exclude raid mods though
Bout time! I've had all mine for a long time, but nice that newer players have one less mountain to climb.
Reading between the lines here though- kind of sounds like we're finally getting some new ones! Most likely strand stuff

For those wondering, off their Facebook page As a preview of things to come in Lightfall, we have some exciting updates coming soon: 💠 Starting Wednesday, January 11, all standard Armor Mods -- Head, Arm, Chest, Legs, Class, General, and Combat Style slots -- will be unlocked for everyone! With big changes coming to buildcrafting in Lightfall, we want to give everyone a chance to enjoy all mods in their current state. 💠 Starting next week, focusing costs for all Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, Crucible, and Gambit weapons and armor will be reduced to 25 Legendary shards. Adept weapon focus cost will also be reduced to 50. 💠 Grandmaster Nightfalls arrive on January 17. In our next update, the Grandmaster Power cap and structure will become more approachable for all players, while remaining some of our most challenging content. More details coming in this week's TWAB.

That's bs, I earned my mods JK, it was stupid 3 year old mods were locked anyway to Ada RNG Everyone enjoy being a unkillable DPS machine, atleast untill they nerf the good mods next season

2 RepliesBungo in full panic mode. All the recent bad PR has them worried. Smart move to do something like this, even though it should have been the norm anyway, but now they are trying to get some good rep to stop all the people calling them out lately on how garbage them and their game is. Lightfall gonna under deliver, per Bungo MO. Numbers must be getting really bad for them to actually do something that benefits players, and for free. Must be killing them clowns inside.
