Why can't I block people past 1500?
So I've been a Destiny 2 player for a few years and since then have ended up blocking 1500+ players over the course of that time.
Recently I was showed the screen that you cannot block more than 1500 people.
Why is it that I as a solo player suffer against 3 man teams in Trials of Osiris especially when they have these (adept) guns that the rest of us players are never able to acquire, its just unfair, i don't want to play against people like this nor teams like this, why can't i block them? Even if you could block an unlimited amount of people I think you have the wrong idea on how the block system works in this game.

1 ReplyJust a fyi, bungie doesn’t care and they refuse to do anything. So keep playing trials and getting matched against broken teams, keeps playing raids with people that curse and use racial slurs, keep dealing with all of this what bungie promotes and allows.

Good lord. 1500 ?, do you block people for looking at you the wrong way I have severe social anxiety, and I have blocked maybe 8 people in 8 years(on Playstation) If you are that's defensive maybe the internet is not for you

blocking people doesn't prevent you from play with or against anyone. trials is designed as a 3 man mode. those with teams have a higher success rate than a solo who has handicapped themselves. it's not unfair.

You do realize blocking people doesn't stop them from matchmaking against you, right? Only means they can't message you.

You don’t really think that “blocking” a player means you cannot match against them, right? That is not what that feature does. It merely prevents them from sending you any correspondence

you know that block is useless inside destiny? you only block chat, and adept guns are a very very little stronger then normal guns so is not unfair

You do know that blocking a player just prevents them from communicating with you and has nothing to do with matchmaking in-game....

Blocking people doesn't prevent you from matching up in the same lobby. Blocking prevents communication, that's it.
