Maps would help. It’s difficult enough getting constantly run over. Doing it on the same few maps gets incredibly frustrating.
A better focus on balancing teams is the other big repair that is needed. I am not a programmer, so I can’t give the best answer on how exactly to fix it, but my thought would be that there be a tighter SBMM system. As you get better, you progress into higher “classes”. (e.g. under 1.0 kda, then progress to a 1.0-1.5 class, etc.) This would keep you progressing until you plateau into a class where you belong.
SBMM only makes sense for casual play. Trials is a different story. I don’t really play trials much any more, so I won’t comment on it.
Tune (don’t nerf) weapons to make them more viable. Give us the ability to be competitive with a much wider range of guns. That will help bring back some of the fun.
I used to love playing sixes. It was my go-to activity that I could play forever. Now it’s really a struggle to enjoy myself.
