There is no way a human being is behind Crucible changes. Quitting penalty for a casual mode with no special rewards is the silliest thing Bungie has done so far.
I don't know if someone at the studio has a personal vendetta against PvP, if that's the case, that person cannot make sane decisions based on emotions.
How can PvP get worse and worse? I don't get it.
Sony needs to get their money back because this is ridiculous.

1 ReplyEdited by nonchalantone: 9/14/2022 3:23:10 AMSo, backing out of a "casual mode" and ruining the match for others, is fair? It's simple.....if they did this, even they saw a problem with it. Not just the players complaining about it. It was being abused badly. Simply put, man up and stay in the match. Take it how you want. If your counter argument is "but my connection" then that's understandable. But people were seriously abusing the whole backing out thing for other reasons.

36 RepliesIt's good to know they are finally taking action against the quitting cheaters. About time.

Easy fix just play comp and trials. You’ll get Put against better skill players in comp to learn from, and as you progress in Trials u play better players too. You develop a skill and eventually you’ll climb that mountain. 6s in this game sucks anyway. The Maps were created for a maximum of 4 players too.

8 RepliesIt's not Casual! SBMM=\=Casual mode SBMM=Competitive= Quitting Penalties. This is the Consequence.

Then let me quit tirals or glory as many times as I want then. Until then STFU, and take your - kd like a champion or be in timeout

14 RepliesIt certainly feels that way…. They really should stop listening to .5 Jim’s that play 3 games a week at most

4 RepliesI got suspended for who knows how long and I got Error code Currant in orbit before we flew in.....

Don’t start a match if you’re not going to finish it.

Sony didn’t buy Bungie for the game. They bought Bungie for the exclusive rights/ IP. I’d expect a full-blown Destiny movie trilogy starting in 5yrs time. That’s how Sony is going to make their money. Utilizing the lore and creating the next Star Wars themed big screen adventure.

well obv they will do this, your are playing 6s and someplayers are quitting cuz the ego can't handle a bad kd , so he get a penality , so don't play 6s so they will remove sbmm from control

11 RepliesSo your one of the quitters, LOL! You can always go and play some paw patrol? So it's OK for someone to quit and ruin the experience for the team? You're a special kind of silly.

What does “casual” PVP even mean? Forget SBMM. Player vs Player, by name and by nature is a competition as soon as your precious little guardian spawns into the game. It’s either kill….or….be killed - it’s that freaking simple. All this garbage talk about casual is just an illusion brought on by the complete mismatch of skill levels that existed prior to SBMM. It’s existed for that long that it created this ongoing illusion of casual “or easier” - for some. Rewards / no rewards, SBMM / CBMM or anything else doesn’t matter. It’s Player vs Player - someone dies every time. It’s competitive. If you want casual then petition Bungie for a PVP simulator where you can shoot bots all day long.

Really RIP because of quitting penalties? Why you playing anyway if you're quitting all the time?
-
Everyone complaining about this is indirectly admitting they're a rage quitter.
-
3 RepliesThe penalty has been around for a while. I think its fine. If they didn't have it, there would be so many quitters. I guess the solution is to find a game that lets you quit to your hearts content?
