Dear Zavala, there are currently no EXOs in leadership roles so the next Hunter Vanguard needs to be an EXO.
The Awoken have you, Zavala.
The Humans have Ikora.
The EXOs have no one.
Where is our voice in the Vanguard? As an EXO myself, I find this absence appalling. Like all other Guardians, we live and die and live again for the Last City. And yet we have no one to speak for us.
The Hunter Vanguard position has been empty for far too long. It is time for someone to be appointed. It's time for an EXO to be named.
So I hereby nominate myself. And to make the decision even easier for you Zavala, I have 425,000 brightdust to offer as a 'donation'. A sizable sum to make all that paperwork easier to get through.
I await to hear from you and move into my office.

It ain’t about representation, it’s about the honor of the hunters. Only one who loses the dare will be chained to the tower and forced to do paperwork, which tends to be why hunters avoid the position. Only through the dare will a new hunter vanguard be decided and if it’s and exo human or awoken, it doesn’t matter, either way they will probably hate their job.

Zavala understands what it’s like to be cut off from your lineage and Ikora understands what it’s like to know that her species failed, but at least they know what they are. I was lucky to have only been rebooted once before the Collapse. To think that some of us have more than three lifetimes that they can’t remember… That said, the safety of our species must come before the sympathy of our race. If that means having another Awoken in charge, then so be it. The Vanguard listens to Saint-XIV and he should know our pain more than most. Besides, another Exo hunter replacing Cayde feels wrong, like we’re just supposed to forget Forsaken ever happened.

Zevala does not represent Awoken, Mara Sov and Petra Venge do Ikora,Zevala and Cayde all 3 represented the might of Guardians , Guardians do not distinguish between Blue,Normal or Metal Skin , we are all apart of a whole, Humanity, no awoken,no exo , just Human Now those arrogant Blue aholes in the reef, who consider themselves no longer human, but something above(untill they need our help) , is a different story And the Hunter position has already been filled by the most capable Hunter left alive , and if you want to argue that point, what new light is navigating the Ascendent Plane just days after learning what they are , look at that joke called Shaw Han, a "Veteran" Guardian that couldn't kill an Omnigul wanna be , now look at Crow who helped us take out one Xivu Araths top generals days to weeks out of the grave, also look at his knowledge of Vex prediction engines , because of which he was able to discover the psion plot against Zevalas light , he made a mistake in Risen, but you should read the first card in the man they call Caydes lore book about mistakes. Hunters may hate him for the face he wears , but none of them are his equal -
3 RepliesYes! where is the Exo representation? Bungie has systematically killed off ore written out all exo characters from Destiny(Besides Banshee). Cayde? dead, long dead. Lakshmi? evil, not a guardian, also dead. Shiro? idk guy hasnt shown his face since D1. Banshee? not a guardian, and also has too many mental issues to be a effective leader. Saint? hes a titan, so theres that, also Bungie turned him from stoic warrior into the token sad story bungie can pull out whenever they need something. Are there any other exos out there I missed? Heck at this point i nominate Rasputin, the ball guy, to be our vanguard. At least we can take orders from a interesting leader then. Imagine he gets a exo body and then is chosen as a guardian XD We must fight for Exo representation! lol

Crow is just too divisive a lot of people in the community still hate him. I myself like crow but even I don’t want him as vanguard. He’s gotten too annoying, and is constantly messing up. He’s hasn’t even done anything remotely badass.

I guess, personally, I'll need to see how Crow is moving forwards, he still feels to unstable to me. the whole nightmare thing, while a reasonable stand in for PTSD, doesn't quite cover the actual dealing with trauma over a period of time. You don't just have an epiphany and bosh you're golden. Though, I guess they'll be wrapped up in a Fikrul season which I'm actually kinda keen for

As an Exo Warlock, I could not agree more. The constant robophobic abuse I deal with from Ikora is ridiculous. When the human and even the awoken warlocks speak with her, it's totally different. She treats us exos like we are her property or at the very least just soulless machines without any feelings or dignity. I've had it! We need equal representation, and we need it now!
