Dares red border
Not even a single red border from 61 runs. This is just crappy design,only way to get red borders is from keys. Bullshit design.

My rate of return for red borders at the treasure hoard is 1:4 or 1:5. Treasure keys are easy enough to get.

Wrong you have 2 ways to get red borders the chest is a pain yes but the 250k challenge is a garntueed red border so if you get a team or just do normal dares and get the 250k challenge you get a red border weapon

I ran 1 master dares yesterday and got a red box bxr. Seems ok to me

Here is a tip I feel works for me Get a bunch of keys then use up to 5 keys and the go to another destination and come back and do the same again because each time is a different instance.

True. I’ve only gotten a couple, but I can’t sit and grind that hard. Dares just gets boring for me after a while.

You get 1 guaranteed a week from the 250k pinnacle. Rest is just like any other weapon with red border chances.

Had my first The Other Half drop today, which was (according to the 9/8 TWAB) meant to drop with Deepsight, but it was a normal drop. Womp.

2 Replieslmfao yeah I don't believe you AT ALL. There is absolutely no way you did 61 runs and didn't get ANY deepsight weapons. You probably just haven't gotten the Deepsight you want and are now posting hyperbole because you're salty.

3 RepliesFirst legend run per week per character guarantees a resonant weapon. I’ve only done 9 runs total but I’ve crafted 2 weapons and I’m at 2/5 or 3/5 on the rest of the weapons.

8 RepliesYeahh, no. The grind is bad but in my 40 runs i completed all the deepsight patterns. Just need to optimize your time with bounties and weekly pinnacles.

3 RepliesTypical bungle using red borders EVERYWHERE to farm guardian hours. Same thing for raid exotics. Bungle is a horrible company and doesn't give a -blam!- about players let alone have respect for their time.

Xur (Dares of Eternity) should have an inventory of red border weapons, once a week we should be able to purchase one with strange coins and/or treasure keys, maybe Bungie is planning on this in the future

maybe grow a pair and do it on the higher setting its not like the modifiers tells you what youll be fighting and can have the horses favour 24/7 and spam heavy

like people have mentioned, Legend dares is dudu butter easy, anybody can get 250K. 300K is the real target for the bounty and bonus round. i too hate champions and match game, i think they are an artificial way to pad out the difficulty, but, with the right build, you wont even need to worry about them.

I’ve gotten most using the keys on the chest near xur. Had two of the shotguns drop back to back. So do the key bounties and hit it that way.

9 RepliesHonestly, I don't even care about getting red borders from Dares. It's such a slap in the face to us for Bungie to wait long after everyone got the rolls they wanted to come out and say "oh now you can get red borders for crafting." It really is sad how Bungie is taking every chance they can to make us despise a system we've wanted in the game for so long. Kind of like how they handled armor transmog.

No weapon is worth running dares that much. Especially after the 100+ runs we had to do when it first came out. Game has devolved into an assortment of hamster wheels.
