Yo, my account got ban a little over a week ago, I mostly raid unless I'm at my m8s place, then we'll do pvp. I made a ban appeal ticket and it got shut down after a week, it looks like people go to the forms to get a reason behind why they got a ban, so here I am.
There's 2 theorys I have behind my own ban either A:
I was flagged as a recovery because I go out to my friends place to play (I have 13 clan mates who are all local, I'm the mutual friend who got them back into the game, most of us stopped playing after curse of Osiris)
Or B:
My day one kings fall clear
I tried to do day one with two of my regular raid teams, in between those runs I got some lfg folks around 2ish am i took a shower and swapped devices (my girlfriends pc is hooked up to a high refresh TV and I was sick of sitting at my desk all day) and got with a group of discord folks that I've ran stuff with before and they where actually able to keep up on damage with war priest and do challenge (we ran a checkpoint without challenge so we could spend more time inside challenge). From the sounds of it 2 players had already ran through the day one challenge and where able to take care of most challenge mechanics and explain them to the rest of us.
We cleared challenge mode surprisingly fast and I went to bed feeling great.
The next moring a friend pointed out my raid report speed, was #313. I raid fast, but not THAT fast. I don't know if someone was using an exploit or cheating. Everything looked legit to me. Or if my "speed boost" flagged me, or what.
Regardless I don't know why I was ban and I feel like this ban is unjust.
I'm an old D1 player and a huge advocate for the game, I've purchased the game for lots of friends (irl and online) and I'm very sad and upset that this happened. Kings fall is a favorite raid of mine and watching my clan from a distance play and teach it without me bums me out.
I don't want to loose an account that I've had for all these years, thank you for you time (and I apologize for the ticket I made, it was rushed and less professional. I was upset in the heat of the moment)

1 ReplyHi there. The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. You can review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Bungie’s official policy, per the linked article, is that there is no guarantee for a response or reason as to why you were banned, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. 1 ReplyEdited by megatron1984: 9/12/2022 11:10:28 PMFirst of all if Bungie denied your appeal then your account is done. Second Bungie very rarely comes to the forums to actually give reasons why a person is banned. What programs do you have on your pc? Do you use any cheat engines for other games including solo games? Debuggers? Trainers?

4 RepliesYou either got banned for cheating. Playing with a cheater. Or something on your machine triggered the anti cheat. You will not be unbanned. So take your pick
