Bungie.net name got reset for some reason
I changed my Bungie.net name pretty much as soon as the option was avaliable, a few months ago, to Eris Morn's Feet Pics. Only now has Bungie finally decided to reset it to the basic Guardian# name. Why now, after so many months, and I can't even change it from the default name.

If your new chosen name was Guardian'd, then Bungie deemed it wasn't acceptable for use as a BungieName as per their Code of Conduct policy and the like. You'll need to wait and see if Bungie decides to grant everyone an option for a name change in the future. Bungie has not announced plans for another name change at this time.

And hopefully bungee will not allow any more in the future. You are now stuck as guardian for the foreseeable future.
