When I go to reinstall Destiny 2, I have to start over from the beginning of game fresh because my old Saved Data is not present in the cloud to transfer.
I contacted SONY about this and they said they don't have a record of me playing Destiny 2, in order to share the Saved Data back to me.
This really sucks because I put a lot of time into my character only for it to have disappeared forever.
I read somewhere that Bungie saves the data and it doesn't go to SONY Save Data Cloud. How do I get my Saved Data back? The contact options are for Banned Accounts, Emblems, Silver and all kind of other things but not about Saved Data backups, So I have no idea where to go to contact them in order the get my Saved Data back.
Feels like I've been chasing my tail.

1 ReplyEdited by SARS-COV-2 B.1.617.2: 8/10/2022 8:40:42 PMIt looks like you last played back in 2018. D2 migrated from Battle.net to Steam in 2019 and you had up to a certain date to transfer your licenses and progress over from Battle.net. If you did not transfer, your progress would be lost. That's probably why your progress and items are gone. Also, there is no way to retrieve your game data and restore your progress. Here's a copy of the e-mail that was sent out to all D2 players during the migration period:
You are receiving this email as we've identified your account as an owner of Destiny 2 on Battle.net. Destiny 2 developer and publisher, Bungie, has announced that the Destiny 2 service will be transferring to a new PC platform on October 1, 2019. Blizzard and Bungie are committed to making this transition as simple and seamless as possible for the Destiny 2 PC community. You will be able to migrate your Guardians, gear, game progress, product licenses and Silver currency balance from Battle.net at no cost. Please note you will lose access to Destiny 2 if you choose not to migrate to the new platform. The last date that Destiny 2 will be accessible via Battle.net is September 30, 2019. For more information, as well as future information and updates from Bungie, please visit https://www.bungie.net/PCMove. 4 RepliesInteresting. I checked your game history and it shows you played back in 2017 when D2 was new. I wonder if someone hacked your account?
nibbles crayon
2 RepliesYour currently linked account (wicked_insider) has no gameplay history since 2018. Is this the correct account you are logging into?
