Hello!
Been having an issue for the last few days where Destiny 2 will freeze, not respond and then I will have to close it manually via task manager.
After having a look I saw that my CPU usage was nearly maxed throughout the entire time Destiny 2 was loading however my GPU (NVIDIA 3070) was going from anywhere as low from 0% and maximum I saw was 3% usage on task manager which (I think??) shouldn't be the case
I have checked Nvidia control panel and Destiny 2 has been setup to use the GPU instead of the integrated graphics of the CPU, so that isn't the issue.
I have also gone into Bios and disabled the ability to have monitors connected to both the motherboard and graphics card to just GPU and still has the same issue.
I have also ran tests on other games I have like Astroneer and it does not share the same issue.
Is anyone else having this issue? If so is there any way I can get Destiny 2 to run using my GPU???

A bottleneck is when the CPU has more utilization than the GPU. You stated that your CPU has maxed% which is 99% and your GPU was at 0-3%. That is called a bottleneck. Your GPU should be at 99% and your CPU around 20-40%. Now when loading a game and loading into a new area then the CPU will go higher, and the GPU lower but when loaded in the GPU then should go higher and the CPU go lower. As every system is different you can fix this but first you have to identify what may be causing this issue. There are tons of help videos and articles on this so my suggestion would look it up and see what you can do on your end or if you are not comfortable doing it yourself if still under warranty take it to where you bought it and explain the issue. No worries, man this stuff happens and its fixable.

I'm not a big PC buff these days and I don't even play the game on console anymore, let alone on PC. That said, I feel like I've seen from other posts that this game is CPU heavy. Might be what Chato said and you are hitting a bottleneck.
