Please let us save Praedyth in the near future
I know we are nearing the end of D2s story and bungie is tying up loose story threads, and this is 1 story thread I would like to see tied up.
In D1 they kind of gave us a conclusion however in D2 they then reopened the story thread.
So here is what I'm thinking; bungie could make a dungeon (or exotic quest) which let's us invade the deepest spaces of VOG in order to break Praedyth out of his prison. We could be led by Asher Mir the harpy. Then the exotic reward could be an updated Super Good Advise lmg. SGA could be anti-barrier with adaptive munitions. Shots that miss, hit a non matching elemental sheild, or champion barrier would have a 40% chance of returning to the mag. Then the catalyst could rewind rounds.
I mean we've already infiltrated the vex network once and save Saint 14, so why can't we do it again and save Praedyth.

1 ReplyWe had a chance to in D1, but failed. He still makes periodic transmissions, but likely just parroted by Vex. Besides he was kind hardcore FWC… do you really want to save him?

1 ReplyI think he escaped, or tried to, back in SK. He got in touch with the Ishtar research clones in the Network and when the Vex started activating the gates to the Garden, they tried to escape. As the openings were creating gaps in the security they could exploit. Or something like that. Been a while since I’ve read it. Been wondering why there hasn’t been any mention of it since. He was almost dead and they don’t have any gear at all. Stranded on the moon in those conditions…eh…not good.
