MENU LAG IS AWFUL

6 RepliesIt's funny how Bungie claimed removing half the game's content world "improve that". The truth is, Bungie doesn't know how to fix it, just like they don't know how to fix a lot of things in this game that has been an issue for years and will be for years to come. Destiny 2 has something like 3 more years before Bungie drops it like D1 to put the full focus on their new mobile game? This means the issue will be permanently embedded in this game until it is pulled ofline. [spoiler]Get comfortable with it because this is how it's always going to be.[/spoiler]

I don't understand how it can be so slow. D1 never vaulted content and yet it never had inventory lag. Such a simple thing that they already had right five years ago.

Menu seems fine, but there is a weird pause in dismantling items in the postmaster that's driving me nuts.

6 RepliesIt is terrible. Also, I've noticed that after the last "fix", on Xbox One X after you bring up a menu, it doesn't recognize your second click until you move the cursor. For example, if your master working an item, each time you upgrade it one step, you have to move the cursor to get the menu to appear again. Just annoying..

3 RepliesI timed it once and it took 41.7 seconds to open my menu during an activity, select a piece of gear, and successfully change just one mod.

i change everything in orbit so the game isn't under any stress, then go to tower or some planet tho let's be honest beyond light just ruined the engine in so many ways

6 RepliesI'm on xbox series x no problems at all. I load into the tower in like 10 seconds and menus open super fast. If your on old Gen systems I think it's time for an upgrade because those systems are too out of date now and it's only a matter of time before they don't support old Gen anymore anyway.

Yup same here. I'm on ps4 still but when I came back to the game for WC I didn't really notice any delay going in the menu's. Well, a little maybe but not that it was annoying or anything. But after the roll out of the new season it became much, much worse. Hope it can still be fixed though... 😑

Play on a current gen console or pc and youll see that its better. Use SSDs as well.

It was unbearable on ps4 but as soon as I switched to ps5 it is now instant. I haven't had a problem since switching.
