This season is a HARD PASS
This is exactly why I hate pre-purchasing a bundle of seasons like the season pass we bought with witch queen. You never know what you’re gonna get. You may end up getting garbage re-issued season of opulence guns. Wow. Yayyyy. -.-

New season is great IMO. Ornaments from the Season Pass are amazing, the new activity is one of the better ones from the past few seasons, the Scythe is fun, the new weapons look and feel AMAZING and now I can craft Austringer? Also, Solar 3.0 is hella fun to play with, just like Void 3.0 and Stasis before. And I haven’t even seen any videos about the new dungeon yet, but I’ve seen the weapons (also AMAZING designs) so I’m eager to hop into it.

4 RepliesWtf is that leviathan public event? That -blam!- got boring after 1 run! Patrol spaces are boring, just killing random -blam!- until a opulent key drops... Recycled menagerie weapons, trespasser is recycled from D1. It probably takes them less than 2 mins to put trespasser in the game, just copy and paste some exisiting code and thats it.

They give us a past season that they had to scrap then remove the dungeon and place it behind a $20 paywall yeah im -blam!- done with bungie they are getting too greedy the season has less content once again

Edited by Violence: 5/28/2022 11:33:25 PMI'm playing it for the season pass ornaments but that is pretty much it. I don't run raids or dungeons at all anymore so not much else I can do. Edit: just discovered the seasonal title is 'Reaper" and doesn't require the dungeon. I play Reaper in FFXIV so I will definitely be working on the title this season.

I don't know if I'll ever buy another expansion, the quality of content has steadily been decreasing. The activities are disposable and next to nothing changes in terms of core gameplay. They keep adding new weapons, but no engaging content to use said weapons in.

Well, I might just do another run of Elden Ring then. Have no clue what the f I'm suppose to be doing in this season. The leviathan thing was boring mid-run.

You got used to 2 long seasons were we got strong as hell... now you're weaker the 1st week and act like something is wrong with the game. You remind me of ppl in d1 after new expansions that we had to level up

Well... My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. But still hoping that this season is not another season of the drifter. Very underwhelming so far.

56 RepliesAwesome, goodbye, one less whiner on the forums. there is so much to love about this season. 1. There are at least 2 OP builds for each class in solar 3.0 and stacking restoration x2 makes u virtually invincible (even in 1590 content)…. And if u try to say it isn’t true, then you aren’t building ur class properly. 2. The scenery and story has just started, it’s going to take a few weeks but I’m excited for where the story is going 3. Leviathan coming back is awesome, and we haven’t even gotten to the underbelly or throne room yet. (In public areas) 4. The guns coming back were awesome, and before anyone cries about sunsetting, they are craftable now so any rolls in our vault would be useless anyway. 5. We haven’t even experienced the dungeon, but I’m sure it’s going to be fun considering every single previous dungeon has been awesome 6. We haven’t even discovered the new dungeon weapons or exotic yet. And some of those weapons look amazing. 7. Im sure there are more secrets to discover around leviathan and dungeon. 8. Solo flawless emblem for new dungeon is fun to chase! That’s just some of the things that are awesome.

3 RepliesTotally agree. Welcome to the season of recycled content we paid for a long time ago and Bungie is double dipping. They introduced even more currencies, you need 500 of one currency to open a chest(low) for a random chance of getting another currency which you need to open another chest for a random (low) chance of getting an opulent weapon that you actually want. Then you need that random to give you a 5 red boxes to craft the weapon. On top of that, solar 3.0 sucks -blam!-. What gets me is The double dipping with recycled content.

13 RepliesSeason isn't even worth $10 😂 Leviathan with a shadowkeep theme to it... the public event is trash. Another recycled D1 weapon in the trespasser. Menagerie weapons that everybody already has 😂 1 new crucible map, just a re skinned version of the D1 map frontier 😂 And if you didnt purchase the deluxe edition (not worth the money anyway 😂) you have spend more money on "dungeon keys" what a joke 😂

Sounds wacky, but me either dude. This is season of the past, reissued assets. There's a handful of new weapons, even they're just old guns with a new paintjob. Nothing 'new'
