It’s legitimately so sad now that eververse has much more content each new season/event than actual content.
Just look at all the shiny new cosmetics.

10 RepliesAnd without eververse we'd have even less in game content.
-
And this summer, they are adding events to Eververse
-
7 RepliesCosmetics isn't content .....
-
That depends on what you call content Activities, areas, new things to do, new set pieces to see, new music to hear, new bosses to fight, new armor to grab, new guns to shoot, all that kind of stuff is what I would call content. I wouldn't call ghosts, shaders, ships, and other things of the cosmetic variety content. Of course I would love to have more of that stuff earnable without the intermediary of eververse. I think everyone would, but I also think you're out of your mind to say that eververse has more content than the rest of the game.

Aren't we getting two armor sets per season and an armor set from any dungeon or raid that launches alongside? Eververse gets... 1? There are for sure more ghosts, sparrows, and ships than there are in the seasonal content. But honestly, are you super upset about that? Ships, sparrows, and ghosts that come from dungeons show flawless or solo accomolishments, while EV just looks cool (sometimes).

1 ReplyTess gers new armors and cosmetics every season + every events. Meanwhile activities gets shared reskins / ugly designs once per year.

10 RepliesYup. Activision was the problem right? Yea sure. With activision, we had the best content, were able to buy almost everything from the store through playing the game and were showered in bright dust. I remember. Ever since Activsion ditched Bungie, it all went downhill.
-
Eververse kills content
Correction, Bungie does. They are the ones that have been making all the asinine decisions for this game.

The game is not special. Back in the day, you could earn everything just by playing the game. Now, they chopped it up into pieces thinking they are making something special and then they sell it separately. Guess what?... it is not special. It never was. Everything used to be included and was earnable just by playing the game. That's how Destiny started. Now, it's a bargain shop of assorted gutted stuff!😂😂😂 It ain't special. They thought they are making something special. It aint! It never was! 😂😂😂

11 RepliesAgreed, and NB4 Bungie apologists.
-
1 ReplyEververse was supposed to finance live service events we were told. Whales would subsidize everything for the little fish. What BS that turned out to be.
-
8 RepliesCosmetics are cheap to make and lots of poor souls pay $ for cosmetics.

2 RepliesIf people never bought this stuff in the first place and continue to buy it, Bungie wouldn't keep making it. It's the players faults!, coated with Bungie's lies of eververse will be funding events and dungeons with eververse proceeds to only charge for the last dungeon and upcoming next 2 separately.

2 RepliesIt is sad. All the stuff we used to be able to earn goes in the store and were left with world drops or just glimmer in some cases as gameplay rewards.
-
1 ReplyAt least the game is free... 🤥

we all saw this coming in d1

7 RepliesCan you name one thing that she sells for silver that is worth buying?

1 ReplyEdited by Smough: 5/21/2022 4:11:11 PMI do wonder if there’s a group of developers at bungie specifically tasked with pumping out eververse cosmetics. Because I wouldn’t really say eververse kills content, as the only content really locked behind eververse are cosmetics like ships and sparrows.
-
12 RepliesEdited by hate n payne: 5/21/2022 12:45:50 PMThere are no weapons, exotics or any subclass enhancements in there though. Just cosmetic concepts that you either care or do not care about.

Do you consider miscellaneous and forgettable cosmetics “content”?

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 5/20/2022 11:00:47 PMWho needs content when you can just buy the loot for real money amiright? Bungie?
