So bungie are now locking new cosmetics behind silver sales and “upgraded cards”. I remember when you could play and achieve rewards. You felt more valued as a community member, helped others after you got everything and the player base was huge.
No one even likes/plays the events now and cheese boring old content and leave asap. Bungie are a joke and a stale company. No wonder the player count is gone. Zero imagination and greed.

1 ReplyI bought Elden Ring, which is a welcome relief from the sad state of modern gaming half-finished, lackluster content. It’s a fully developed and enormous game which I’ve found very fun!
-
32 RepliesDamn all the bungie brainwashed sheep in these comments.
-
4 RepliesThis LITERALLY is the concept of capitalism. Either pay up or don’t. Your choice.
-
3 RepliesI have to agree unfortunately. It just seems that the content is too little to justify the price.
-
2 RepliesHow can you say that with all the new pvp maps we have! /s
-
1 ReplyThe amount of time they spent coming off with a new scheme we could of gotten 10 new PvP maps.. I’m just saying Tho
-
1 ReplyI mean i wouldn't mind more OPTIONAL cosmetic items for real money IF the actual game would be fun. The entire game has gotten stale, main playlists are abandoned, "events" are chore lists with the only intent to make ppl buy the armor and the gameplay loop is catered towards streamers and neckbeards with zero rewards. So yea because the entire game stinks now, i agree that this isn't justified.

3 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 5/21/2022 1:18:37 AM
Bungie values = maximum profit, minimum work.
That's because a lot of the player base accepts minimum work. Companies like this new Bungie are ruining gaming because they are taking advantage of these players blindly throwing money at them. I miss the original Bungie, at least they actually gave a -blam!- about the players that cared about them creating quality work.
-
2 RepliesThey do seem more focused on profits than ever before but if we all still keep playing, how are they ever going to know it pisses us off?
-
It's not just Bungie bro. It's buisness in general.
-
Lol they’re a business so yeah profits are part of it and it’s cosmetics. It doesn’t give anyone who decides to spend money any type of advantage in the game. Why do people get upset over ornaments?
-
1 ReplyYour post is dumb. Don't purchase the cosmetics. They're obvious additions that are harmless to balancing a massive sandbox in a shooter looter game. From a monetary standpoint it makes complete sense for a company still trying to generate a profit in between content drops. If you don't want any of the cosmetics, simply don't buy them. This is how most companies are making their money, because it works. It's a simple thing that some core players like Just for the record, no, I don't buy silver or cosmetics
-
3 RepliesWhile I dislike the cosmetics focus shift in games… Isn’t that how businesses work?
-
2 RepliesIsn't that the way 90% of people on this forum want PvP to be run?
-
If we only had a way to not buy cosmetic items that were sold in video games. Kinda like a personal choice. I’m not really sure why everyone is so butt hurt over this. Buy it or don’t buy it.

1 ReplyI remember hidden top tier weapons being hidden as rewards for playing strikes in D1 like Hopscotch Pilgrim. For activities like prison of elders which was challenging and fun. Strike exclusive loot, you could she peoples trash connection and they’d get booted, certain handcannons didn’t feel weird due to bloom, Vendor refreshes, factions with their own loot, class specific weapons and more. I don’t know if this is due to free to play or just laziness but things need to change. They literally brought back Ala Khul and no Darkblade helm or dark blades spite fusion rifle as a reward. Such a missed opportunity smh.

2 RepliesThe new dungeon boss “Paywall” can be taken down by a well coordinated fire team of up to three guardians (or 1,200 silver)….
-
1 ReplyThat’s called efficiency.
-
I don’t mind the drip content but I do mind the convoluted systems and drive for grind as a metric Deliver value and fun rather than manipulation in pursuit of monetization metrics

That’s everyone’s values when it comes to employment. Ask anyone and they will agree. You will too when you enter employment. Anyone who disagrees is lying.

4 RepliesIt’s just sad to see Destiny 2 become like Fortnite or LoL. Why does every game have to become a -blam!- clone copy of each other? I thought having different games let different people play what they wanted? Reducing it means we all have less options to pick from. 😞
-
Hey, ask Bungie how much of the money from these charity things they do actually go to the charity! Bet its less than 10%
-
I wonder what changed
-
16 Repliesnothing new, they are locking OPTIONAL COSMETIC behind silver for a lot of time
-
The time you’re talking about is just in your imagination.
-
10 RepliesDONT. BUY. COSMETICS. SIMPLE.
