Hung Jury Drop Rate?
So uh... I've ran about 26 Nightfalls on Legend and out of those 26 runs I have only one Hung Jury. I've done the grind for other NF weapons, but is the drop rate for Hung Jury bugged or is it just ridiculously low? Is my RNG just [i]THAT[/i] bad?

At about 40 completions and I have acquired 4 hung jury's. The drop rate is abysmal and definitely skewed towards hot head for whatever reason.
At an avg of 8-12 min a run... It's a big time commitment.

Got the adept first try, but yeah the normal one is a pain in the neck to get it to drop

Even on GMs I think the rocket is heavily weighted this week for some reason. I’ve ran 10 GMs this week and got 8 rockets and 2 Scouts. My buddy has ran the same 10 with me and got 9 rockets and 1 scout.

2 RepliesEdited by Shnitzngigglez: 2/20/2022 10:50:58 PMIt's not just RNG in other NFs, it's certainly in GMs too...i've been running GMs since reset and have gotten 23 hotheads / 8 jurys, mostly repeat rolls. The past 8 that I've run have all been hotheads...such a wonderful drop rate!

3 RepliesI’ve never had one drop for me when “grinding”. Did 79 platinum runs in a row once…nothing. The only two that ever dropped for me when randomly messing around in non-platinum matchmade hero runs. Got: 1) polygonal/tac mag/surplus/frenzie/reload mw 2)polygonal/steady rounds/moving target/box breathing/stability mw. One is a great high end pve roll, two is the absolute PvP god roll in my opinion, lethal. I’ll never grind HJ adepts as the chances of getting these rolls to drop again infinitesimally small. Happy with what have.

The standard issue night watch is a better weapon. Only thing hung jury has going for it adept mods.

9 RepliesLegend NFs are not worth running if you're trying to get weapons. GM is the only way to go - I've always had at least one of the two drop upon completion. Took me 4 or 5 runs to finally get Hung Jury, and now that I have it, I don't think it was worth it

I got the two I wanted farming this week. pvp one with moving target and explosive payload range master work. The other pve with heating up and firefly with a range master work

So basically you’re farming for a really low percentage drop (maybe less than 10%?), which has about a 50% chance to be a hung jury, and you have to get good perks on top of that.

I don't know, maybe I'm just salty but the time investment into this game is beyond ridiculous. Out of all the NF runs I've done I've gotten 2 HJ's - Heating Up/All for One and Bottomless Grief/Firefly.
