the ability to have a well or a banner shield non stop because of the 75% energy return was absurdly strong in gms. something had to be done about it and getting it 25% less often is really not the end of the world

Here is a novel idea. If you feel this way, DON’T USE IT!! Plain and simple.
-
Shouldnt have to handicap myself to play the game the intended way
-
So handicap everyone?
-
Wouldnt call it handicapping, the game just needs to be balanced. Hate to break it to you but PvE being immune to balance makes no sense. Supers with almost 100% uptime that make you borderline invincible is very clearly flawed and nerfing the ability is not a handicap it is just bringing those supers in line with everything else, and I guarantee you that even post-nerf those exotics will still be the uncontested PvE meta.
-
It's PvE. I does not affect you either way what someone else uses. PvP, by all means. PvE, No. We are supposed to be powerful. Have fun. Nerfing us is not powerful and sponge enemies and takinf forever to complete an activity is NOT fun.
It's PvE. I does not affect you either way what someone else uses.
Actually it does and it effects everyone. See when Bungie are designing challenging content they need to take into account our maximum damage out put. Because if they didn’t challenging wouldn’t be challenging.
We are supposed to be powerful. Have fun. Nerfing us is not powerful and sponge enemies and takinf forever to complete an activity is NOT fun.
We are powerful in strikes and patrols but they don’t keep everyone engaged so end game content needs to be more difficult and in Destiny that either means convoluted mechanics or bullet sponge bosses. If you think it’s not fun don’t play it and stick to strikes where nerfs don’t really effect much.

Have never once had fun or felt powerful from using an almost 100% uptime ability that makes me borderline immune to damage. Well of radiance trivializes everything in the game and phoenix allows you to have it every minute or so, it is clearly an outlier in game balance. Not just among warlocks, but every class. It is a must have in PvE, for every activity. Something had to be changed whether you like it or not, it is a fact that well saw too much use and like I said PvE is by no means exempt from being balanced. Obviously balancing doesn't need to be as aggressive as it is in PvP, but good lord well of radiance with phoenix has trivialized the game for three full years. A nerf is long overdue and I guarantee you it will still be the meta afterwards.

Stop it,just Stop it! Nothing is absurdly strong in gms! But iff you want it Hard take a Khvostov and Start a GM!!!
Nothing is absurdly strong in gms!
Bleak Watcher says hi.

Minus ursa, before the nerf. If you had 2 titans, you could have infinite supers.
-
Penalty will still be a thing. So many orbs drop the Titan duo may still have 100% uptime.
-
Yeah, it still will be the go-to for titans in GMs.
-
God forbid we feel strong.
-
Never once have felt strong from standing in one spot taking no damage because I used my super that I have every 30 seconds
-
Then don't use that super. Problem solved.
-
Shouldnt have to handicap myself to play the game the intended way
-
Lmao, YOU don’t use that super. Problem solved
-
Shouldnt have to handicap myself to play the game the intended way
-
Then why are you telling others to do the same?
-
Im not
-
Ah wrong person
-
Strong and overpowered are 2 different things.
