Know why Arc Staff is good? Because the cast speed is good and there is only a very brief delay before you can attack.
Increase the cast speed of Stormtrance, reduce the slow ass "wind up" speed of zapping things, and rework the wonky teleport ability to either NOT require so much super energy, or make it good so the super energy it requires makes sense which would mean making the animation faster instead of having to slowly dry hump the air to activate it.
You're already doing something about how garbage Landfall is but we'll see how that pans out. Make these changes to Stormtrance and it would see more usage...maybe.

2 RepliesJust need to increase the damage output. Stormtrance was one of the best pvp supers in the game in D1 (it was also one of the best pve supers). But in its effort to become an e-sport, Bungie crippled its damage output so you just stand there waiting to burn down anything stronger than a trash mob. Which makes it useless it anything other than patrol and strikes in pve…. …and useless in pvp if you need to take on another active super, and makes it very weak against simple team shooting.

1 ReplyThe range on the lightning also needs a buff. With a super that needs constant contact to down opponents it often comes down to melee based supers having time to retaliate. Heck if they wanted to they could change the lightning to be more noticeable to better aim the “beam”.

5 RepliesEdited by hate n payne: 8/6/2021 7:21:51 PMThe zap damage to me just feels weak to me. You can be zapping players and it feels like they arent taking damage. I wish they took that exotic that buffs its damage and put it intrinsic to the subclasses them. You shouldnt have to put on an exotic to make supers stronger. It should come from stringing kills together. The blink on Nova Warp is what the blink on Stormcaller needs.

13 RepliesSaying arc staff is good in PvP is so wrong. The best way to counter it is just to turn around and run away. You have to play smart with it to get any kills
