I was playing freelance survival and one of the enemy team had telesto on, when he shot it, the exploding telesto balls or whatever were going across the map, how in the hell does it have that much range? I’m legitimately wondering right now, because that just blew me out of the water, I was STUNNED

You know how the One Thousand Voices can map people? Well the Molesto does that but it's just a watered-down version of it.

Telesto is the besto
-
Hahahaha, get telesto'd! This stuff is pretty common actually. But ive heard experiencing it brings good luck.

1 ReplyWith most fusion rifles, the bolts have damage falloff, and even though the bolts go across the map, they do minimal damage. However, because Telesto's bolts deal most of the damage from a secondary explosion AFTER the bolts hit something, Telesto isn't affected by damage falloff. Hope this helps! :) P.S. I use Telesto, sorry to anyone that finds it annoying

Bungie can’t touch the code for Telesto If they try to molesto Telesto Telesto will destroy all their data (inc Matter & 401k) 😆 I’m not kidding 🤬😈

Yes
its the besto
1 ReplyMost players omit using telesto because it’s proper etiquette. Anyone can pick up telesto, or jotun, and raise hell in PvP. It either a troll gun or a desperation play
-
it's an explosive, it has no range fall off
-
Telesto is my only weakness!
-
The balls have no falloff damage, thats part of the reason telesto has always been a hidden gem meta weapon. Its always breaking the game too
-
Telesto is the besto! That's all I've to say.
-
Vvvvvoooooop! Get telestoed -blam!-
-
It is the besto. Bungie has nerfed it 2173 times and it is still the king of the hill and broken af.

1 ReplyThe damage is calculated on the target's distance from the projectile, not the one holding the gun. The actual impact damage of the shots in Crucible is a flat 1, the explosions do up to 39 each. Recoil is the only thing that limits Telesto's range, as you can't reliably hit 5+ shots on people over a certain distance when dealing with the natural spread. Think of it as like asking why someone can kill you from far away with a Rocket Launcher.

The explosions have no drop off, so if they can clump up the shots, they can map anyone
-
The tears got into Telestos motor and now it don't work like it once did.
-
That’s why it’s an exotic.

Read it’s exotic perks
