Make exotics great again. Stop nerfing the only few good guns at a time and give us options. This is so wack. Stop giving us metas in pve.

9 RepliesAhhh yes instead of buffing or focusing on straight up useless exotics like whisper, legend of acrius, and queen breakers. Let’s nerf a good one. Useless developers. Please ban me ninjas for my freedom of speech against this heinous company.
-
1 ReplyVery spot on! And they are only fixing 2 weapons. Not the rest of them. Like what about DARCI? Like any sniper can have the same perks as it… like any purple sniper with the right mods.

6 RepliesMy prediction: Anarchy get's nerfed. Everyone switches back to witherhoard as it does DoT and debuff. Bungie: "omg we need to nerf witherhoard"

5 RepliesEdited by Ty’Riis, Kell of the Hood: 7/6/2021 3:05:56 AMHot take: Most guns are actually really good and the problem is that most boss fights are built for burst damage which is why you see the same weapons in every raid, NOT the guns themselves. Perfect example being Whisper. It has the highest sustained dps in the game and it gets zero use.
-
Hey, this man has common sense. Someone give him a promotion.
-
I mean they don't play their own game and are lazy what do you expect. They're just going to overtune it into oblivion instead of giving us more options because its easier and consumes less resources
-
Two tail fox does thd same thing as Anarchy when used with a gl with breach anc clear
-
I'm so happy Anarchy is getting nerfed. It's been the Destiny 2 G-Horn for 2-3 years now.

Edited by Roaszhak: 7/6/2021 1:55:04 PMPlenty of usable exotics it’s just Anarchy does everything so well and is so easy to use, it makes most of the other weapons look bad. Sleeper without a buff does 69k damage a crit, with the catalyst, you can plunk those shots off pretty quickly. No one uses it because you have to aim a bit more. Whisper still out damages almost any heavy exotic but because it requires more than a split second of aim, no one uses it. Personally wish Bungie would apply nerfs and buffs based on ease of use rather than popularity. Edit: something I found funny though. The bonus damage from explosive payload does slightly more damage than the burn damage from Two Tailed Fox 😂

They want each activity to last as long as possible so they can keep drip feeding us re-used content. They can’t do that by allowing us to feel powerful like the game was advertised. 🤷♂️

1 Replyis any 1 have been under comunist system or live in 1,they all the time tell you what or what not u can do,what to use or not, this is how this bungie have become, it reminds me the old soviet union, we not have free will no more in this game, this people that running bungie literally going to tell u what gun you going to be able to use more 3 months thx to the champions mods, well I guess that is not enough for them, now they just going to start nerf exotics base on people usage, to force u to play the way the want even further, this have to stop, please stop supporting this clowns, not buy nothing from them, stop supporting there funding events etc, imma 1 day they will change, for now im out

Gl's can all burn
-
This is absolutely ridiculous. Breach and clear is the main reason for this. Plus I use a variety of GLs including deafening whisper and ignition code. This stuff is becoming a back door way to sunset weapons without coming out and saying it directly. We should have the freedom to use any gun we want to. Not good for the future of the game.

1 ReplyRemember Acrius? It hasn't been touched since forsaken when it got a 33% damage nerf

16 RepliesWhile I have been reading all the comments in this post, I have become more puzzled as how and why such things happen in a game of this nature. Bungie creates the content and creates and supplies us with the weapons. The idea is that we take part in the content and use the weapons available to complete whatever it is in order to obtain the loot from that particular content. But if we use the weapons that THEY have created in content that THEY have created, and we complete that content too fast or too easily, the content is either patched or the weapons are nerfed. WHY????? Does it really matter if we complete something in 5 days, 5 hours or 5 minutes? We are playing the game with the weapons available, and I don't know why there is this constant battle between maker and players. We play it for end loot that they supply, but they don't want us to get it. Sorry if this sounds a bit off the wall, but it's kind of got me thinking.

The funny thing is anarchy by itself is trash. Hell Bungie in the TWAB said it was getting nerfed because it was too popular and not OP.
-
I agree. There are several people think Anarchy is the only weapon needs nerf but wrong. Other exotic weapons are trash. Without buffing other exotic weapons, it won't gonna solve any problem at all.
-
8 RepliesAll I am saying is go into a GM and take on a champion solo with witherhoard and then do it with anarchy and you be the judge.
-
5 RepliesIt's not that only exotics are trash. The end game content the way is designed isnt really made for us to be able to tackle it in different ways. It's always 1 way to go about it, one type loadout, hardly any variety to do them in. If they going to nerf anarchy they better fix their end game and how they are designed. Specially since in GM and hard end game activities have every little ad 1 shotting you or damaging you to where you shoot few bullets then take cover, rinse and repeat
-
13 RepliesAnarchy wouldn't need to be nerfed if Bungie didn't put Breach and Clear in the game. Bungie themselves even admitted that was the case in the TWAB. But no, it's the gun's fault. Never Bungie's. Like the massive nerf Whisper got way back in Penumbra.
-
2 RepliesMetas will always exist because its cheaper for Bunghole to nerf and buff than to develop new strikes, PVP maps and Gambit maps. Thats how they keep the game fresh and it seems to be working because nobody is demanding any new strikes, PvP maps and Gambit maps. Bunghole brings back VOG and gets praised for it. Thats why you have an Anarchy nerf and metas.
-
8 RepliesSo instead nerfing a really good make all of them OP?....and people's have the guts to say bungie sandbox team is bad.....
-
1 ReplyI think my favorite thing of this whole ‘anarchy is too good fiasco’ is that anarchy hasn’t been touched since its release and hasn’t been ‘viable’ until a raid boss with lengthy damage phases like atheon or taniks appears and suddenly its “OMG BUNGIE NERF THIS OP TRASH, ITS BEEN TOO DOMINANT FOR YEARS” That with the combination of breach and clear + 1 slot scavenger for grenade launchers it became god tier for this season and everyone has a conniption. Its especially funny when you look back to previous raids and see how the meta effected the guns/weapon class. First cluster bomb rocket launchers for riven (which were only viable for riven), then whisper for insurrection (nerfed into the ground over multiple updates), spike grenades/wendigo for ghalran (got nerfed coming into shadow keep) izanagi’s burden for sanctified (nerfed and hasn’t seen major use since) and now anarchy. The major outliers being lament and xenophage. Even though its damage is still great, Lament is a sword and in most cases unable to be used for bosses due to DoT or them floating and flying. Still baffles me why xeno hasn’t gotten a nerf, its been a pretty consistent DPS weapon since its shadowkeep release. Even more so now with its ability to 1 tap oracles for more freedom on kinetic and energy slots. Point is, if bungie is saying this previously ignored and un-changed exotic has been way to good for way to long thats shitty balancing. If they’re going to spreadsheet balance for nerfs, they better -blam!-ing spreadsheet balance for buffs. Legend of acrius, queen breaker, darci, etc. Its only fair.

3 RepliesIf Bungie embraced the power fantasy instead of micromanaging it then the game could be played however the player chooses. That’s not what Bungie does. Bungie dictates the way the game is played for a period of time then via nerf introduce new gameplay. The content doesn’t change the gameplay does. It’s a forced change to compensate for the lack of new development and or content.
