They're weird, since they're absolute trash in direct combat without a direct hit (skillshot, although they shouldn't have aim assist). But the counter for them is jumping around, if you don't like doing that, that's fine. Just don't expect the launcher people to say "oh, well, guess I'll stop using launchers." They fulfil their intended purpose, and the only real change they need would need to be a give and take, unless that change is removing the grenade bending/magnetism on them. And the spamminess is fixed by what the devs literally are saying they're going to do in the future in reducing Special ammo availability. You have summoned me. Edit: Also, your opinion isn't valid anyways, considering you're a cheater.

I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where were we? No, we clearly didnt. Bungie took the feedback from mountaintop and three ambitious assassin special GLs in the game as a replacement. We even have some new appearences like slideshot, and vorpal weapon. Great sandbox.

You seems to be under the impression that it is easy to use them when in actuality you need to get good and learn low level calculus to become effective with it. It is not automatic I had to practice to become awesome with GL's. When I first started using them I sucked with them and almost put them down for good. Eventually I started to get better with them and now I'm really good with GL's. You have to predict enemy movement and calculated trajectory.

Nade launchers actually take some skill to use. You have to do mental calculations to figure out where your shot is gonna land and how it is gonna bounce

The problematic issue here is why someone would say something so trivial in the first place. If you are getting killed by GL's more often than usual, maybe start by asking yourself, what am I doing wrong here? I'm not going to say this is a you problem, but this is exactly what it sounds like. Time to kill on an aggressive pulse is .67, or somewhere around that. So with this logic that you are using, that weapon should be nerfed. Also, so should every thing else that can kill very quickly.... So, yes , good luck with your "PVP GL NERFS". It's good to dream.

1 ReplyI find shotguns are significantly more prevalent than gls and map size rewards shotgun use since you can kill yourself with a gl. Most ridiculous deaths I’ve had involved hunters jumping above doors and getting a 1 shot crit as I walked through which is just ridiculous. Accuracy should be a pipe dream with a shotgun in air and to your point grenade launchers as well.

6 RepliesIt is extremely high risk high reward you bozo, if you miss the GL shot you do 0 damage and you only have a few shots, it also has travel time which makes it easy to dodge. Go cry about real pvp issues.
