So i did trials for the first time
I was in the tower doing my stuff when a random asked me if i wanted to do trials for the bounties. I said sure and went to get the bounties.
We did some matches and even won some rounds/games. But mostly got stomped on. 😀
My rewards: 2 igneous hammers!! I am so happy as i really wanted that hc.
I got 1 with:
Smallbore
Flared magwell
Rapid hit
Rampage
Stabilty mw
Thats pretty good roll i guess.
Im a happy guardian.

8 RepliesI swear to god I hate RNG, I have never gotten a rampage roll and 2 out of 5 Igneous Hammers that I've gotten had One for All. And a new guy gets to have an amazing roll. Good for you though.

Meanwhile I got it did 3 confidence cards and didn’t get a single rapid hit rampage (your roll is basically the roll I was going for with extended mag instead).

The first week Igneous was the 3 win reward, I passed, in part because I had yet to complete the initial quest that grants you entry to trials (the elim defeats and the valor reset). When Messenger was the three win reward I knocked that quest out and jumped in. Didn't make it to three wins that week, but completing the bounty got me a rapid hit, desperado roll. That pulse is probably the only legendary pulse rifle I enjoy since Blast Furnace was sunset. Did trials this week and knocked out the bounty on my Warlock and Hunter (actually managed 3 wins on my Hunter, too!). Managed to snag 4 IHs (I did the seasonal weekly challenge requiring Trials round wins). I got a pvp rapid hit moving target roll, and a pve outlaw, rampage roll, both with range MWs. I really like the gun, but 120s in general still feel really inconsistent to me. The first roll works nicely in pvp, but I swear the second one whiffs soooooo many shots. Not the best pvp player, but all 120s with the exception of that rapid hit, moving target IH feel super floaty. Obviously folks perform with them, given the meta, but I've only had that one roll actually feel like it's doing what it needs to do. Def want to jump into trials if the fusion ever becomes a 3 win. really would love to see that fusion with kickstart.

I feel Bungie did a great thing and has opened the Trials experience up to so many more people. Players like you and I who would have never played before too. It still doesn't mess up the flow of regulars because they get to take a break in a few rounds without the back to back to back sweat fest. Good on them and good for you.
