Maybe just me but holstering weapons
Does anyone else wish we could holster our weapons when were exploring like our guns would go on our back like the tower and we could explore in third person with all our jumping abilities would be great for the HELM as well

1 ReplyThat would be cool. I know that if you afk in patrol long enough you kind of holster the weapon. Takes about 6 minutes.

3 RepliesD1 exotic kinetic quests would leave you empty on kinetic slot if you were full and the weapon you were working on was in kinetic slot. Then you could load into crucible and get a base version of a auto rifle.

3 RepliesI remember in Halo 3 there was a weird little buttom combination you could press that would allow for this. But yeah, it should definitely be a thing.

Agree. Bungie already did it in the Halo games so it’s not like they have to think that hard to come up with how to do it

It's like when you summon your sparrow, you default in third person automatically and you explore around with your sparrow in third person. This should be possible since you could already do that in sparrow mode or in Hive sword mode. This option though will make jumping puzzles in some activities easier. I don't think devs are going for that when they design certain puzzle activities. But who knows, right? Maybe they'll find it interesting as well. This option could also be problematic in PvP, like sword peeking. Maybe if this option is present in the game, must be automatically disabled in Crucible. Hope for the best! Great idea though.

I agree with all of this. I love it especially when you can holster your weapon. Many games have figured out how to do this so Destiny can too
