Stasis is extremely oppressive and is ruining crucible. It makes light subclasses obsolete and makes gunplay non existent due to overpowered abilities. Multiple content creators along with the majority of the player base do not like stasis. Player numbers in Trials are low. A Change needs to be implemented ASAP
Edit: as expected the PvE creatures have emerged with their uninformed opinions. PvP is a huge part of Destiny and we saw the effect of PvP players leaving Destiny. Which is why they brought back special weapons. Also, most content creators who literally make a living off of PvP agree that stasis has no place in crucible. Check and mate.

29 RepliesSorry pvp is not a "huge" part of the game and stasis is far from overpowered.it's actually pretty weak as far as the supers go.

11 RepliesEdited by Ferus Lux: 2/9/2021 2:36:43 AMAlso, content creators dont speak for the community and what they agree on is irrelevant considering they help destroy the game as well. Check mate my ass. You lost all credibility saying that. PvP is not THE game. What a deluded assessment.

pvp baby!! it shouldnt be in the game..... yeah pvp that is!!

It's really not

You...are wrong.

Streamers and Youtubers are ""Consumers"" who vlog about products for advertising money... When they start losing viewers they Fabricate Drama to Attract Attention. It's like the gossip magazines at the checkout line of the grocery store... Drama Sells

18 RepliesFirst of all, PVP is not Destiny, not even by a long shot. It is an important part, but it is not the game. Secondly it is not ruining PVP. You are just not used to it being in game, and it messes up your flow that you have trimmed in for years. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. ...or just stop playing PVP in Destiny. We all have our pain points and for me Stasis means very little because I rarely live for very long anyway. I stopped playing when CBMM replaced SBMM because to me that killed the PVP experience for me. I can still dip in once in a while, but I don't care about it any more than I care about Gambit. It is something to endure for a reward, nothing more. You have to decide if Stasis is putting you in that same situation or if you are just frustrated because things are much slower, and you usually can't get away once you get frozen.

3 RepliesI think it’s funny that PvP players STILL speak as if they are relevant to the game. Bungie barely touches PvP, doesn’t give you new maps or modes, nothing. If this doesn’t show you they don’t care then I don’t know what will. Havnt had a new map since D1, I mean open your eyes.

Edited by Halo Sky258: 2/10/2021 3:10:02 AMI'm more of a PvE player but I agree that Stasis needs the boot. We should have gotten Gravity esq powers from the Darkness or something not this freezing nonesense. Freezing in PvP basically breaks the game and in PvE well...Eh I don't care for it in PvE and it's just a 'okay' thing. Point is I agree that Stasis needs to gtfo.

I do not believe stasis to be a problem. I use stasis and very often when i freeze someone they are able to unfreeze in less than a second and kill before i can kill them.. I would be more concerned about hackers. (aimbotters, unlimited special ammo, wall hacks) THIS is ruining the game. not stasis.

1 ReplyThat must be just you big dawg cuz as much as I hate behemoth and revenant. Stasis as a whole has actually made pvp fun again. Its a huge counter for shotgun apes and people who like to hug corners and peek shoot. So that's probably why you dont like it. You're either a peek shooter or a shotgun ape

Trials and pvp numbers are low because there crap playlists that last 2 seasons not because of stasis but to each there own.

2 RepliesBottom tree sunbreaker wrecks stasis, as does missile titan 😁

We saw pvp players leave? When? And I don't see no "Raid race" that gets watched and supported by the community. I wonder why that is? Mated bro. Destiny is and always will be a pve centered game. Live with it. And eat my Popsicles, because crucible is fun again!

4 RepliesThey should transition to destiny 3 and leave stasis out. They should also scale back on pve because it’s redundant and boring. Pvp is where emotion is created and should be the main focus going forward.

Edited by Killmonger: 2/9/2021 10:42:15 PMYou see the new warlock stasis fragment? With high discipline that can just spam a stasis turret that freezes you in place smh. In pvp my first few games were against fully stacked teams with stasis of course. Pvp is still in shambles and that’s why I didn’t buy the season pass just in case I wasn’t satisfied with what they were bringing to the table and I’m not. Stasis in general is not what pisses me off because I can handle my own but the fact there’s no diversity is what I hate. So I might dip in here and there to help clan mates but other than that I have no interest.

Edited by KalelKryptonian: 2/9/2021 9:01:32 AMWell firstly I don't know where you get it making weapons obsolete when hand cannons and shotguns are meta. People like you PvP moaners who try to get anything nerfed because it makes there PvP more challenging ,are who ruin The game If you don't like how PvP is go back to frostbite or call of duty

1 ReplyDon't blame Stasis, blame the skilless pricks spamming it to death.
-
Stasis is here to stay. Just give up and either play the game or don't.

Edited by redmosquito87: 2/9/2021 4:29:22 PMStasis is not going anywhere. You have one of two choices. It's either going to be incredibly effective or incredibly weak. I don't see them nerfing it much more. One thing that could help is introduce mods that reduce the effectiveness of Stasis. Not only would that help other subclasses be more viable. You could also give more of a trade off for people wanting to run double special ammo scavenger all the time. Say create a leg mod that resists freezing, giving you more time to get out of a freezing attack. Create mods that allows you to actually shoot when you are in a freezing field. Stuff like that. It will help with two things in Crucible, making Stasis less effective and reducing the special ammo economy.

You people whine way too much!! It’s either about felwinters or it’s over jotunn just live with it!

3 RepliesNow hang on a minute, creators who make a living off of chain feed kill montages don’t like stasis... I wonder why? Is it because they have to work harder to get ‘content’ where they don’t have it all their way against bots? Perhaps they would have to get a real job?

2 RepliesSo, stasis is making guns obsolete, 120rpm hcs are oppressive and make everything else obsolete, shotguns are oppressive and make everything else obsolete, top tree dawnblades are oppressive and make all other classess obsolete, and of course Arbalest oppressive and make everything else obsolete. Did I miss anything?

Edited by cesar0s: 2/9/2021 6:29:27 PMNobody is surprised stasis is uber powerful in PvP, and will be for a while. This happens EVERYTIME they add a new super. Just buckle in for a cold 2021. They'll nerf it into the ground later this year making it unplayable...then in 2022 people can start asking for it to be buffed again.
