Don't Sunset Supers
Luke, no one wants to live in your "Luke Fantasyland". Sorry, not sorry. If you sunset ANY supers, Destiny 2 will die. End of story.

Yeah, this looks pretty bad on Bungie ngl. How are you going to say ‘here’s more customization’ whilst simultaneously cutting most of the supers we wanted out of our old sub-classes. Bungie has become lazy, and at this point I’m not even shocked, just disappointed.

They designed the super trees with too much synergy. If we revert to a customizable tree we are going to lose a lot of that synergy. Don't change light subclass trees at all. Unless it is to rework the tree itself leave the current system alone. Each tree has an identity and I love that.

7 RepliesEasy solution. Warlock: Press to activate Dawnblade. Hold to Activate Well of Radiance. Same for Stormtrance/Chaos Reach and Nova Bomb/Nova Warp. Hunter: Press to activate Tether. Hold to Activate Spectral. Same for Goldy/Blade Barrage. Arctrider can be customized within the class. Titan: Press to activate Sentinel. Hold to activate Ward of Dawn. Same for Fist of Havoc/Thundercrash. Hammer Titan can be customized in the class. Or let us key bind it so we can decide which is press and which is hold. Not that hard.

3 RepliesIdk about hunters and titans but as a warlock main I say, "naw". Go ahead and cut Nova warp AND chaos reach. They've been nerfed into oblivion so bad they're virtually useless in both PVP and PVE. That might not be the case for hunters and titans but warlock supers are always getting dragged through the mud and then never readjusted when it's needed so if they aren't going to fix the worthless supers then -blam!-ing get rid of them.

12 RepliesEveryone overreacting about this really doesn’t know the first thing about game development. There’s this great concept called “iteration” that game devs and people from other industries use to develop ideas for things. They may have one idea at the start, but that idea is always subject to change. The end result is hardly ever the same as what came first. They may say they’re considering removing some supers, but if you actually look at it with context, you’d understand that this isn’t their final answer. However they want to change the Light subclasses, this system they want to do is very likely going to go through a lot of refining. But nobody listens to reason, of course. Clearly the better response is to take everything out of context, create controversy, and make people angry for views.
