For PvE I am salty. I had a set up for constant invisibility that I use in content that I’m underpowered for or just really difficult PvE stuff.
That build is essentially dead now, which sucks.
For PvP I’m not too upset. Just worried.
The dodge change seems to be pretty balanced, meaning as per usual people will still call for more nerfs. That’s usually how every Hunter nerf goes.

Edited by hate n payne: 11/5/2020 9:46:33 PMDo you want to know why players ask for Hunter nerfs? They have more variety and diversity in their arsenal and a lot of their exotics cater to both the Titans and Warlocks in structure. If Bungie would stop making the Warlock and Titans generic in terms of abilities and exotics, then most of the playerbase would stop asking for nerfs. As far as the nerf to dodge is concerned, they could have left it as is for PVE but PVP needed a nerf due to how annoying and excessive in usage it is. There is any gunfight where I havent had a Hunter dodge during it.

I understand, I do the same thing lol. Anyway to respond to your post. I agree to an extent. I do agree that perhaps having a dodge that often is a bit too much but I just hope people won’t call for even more nerfs. A lot of people try to draw comparisons between dodge and the other 2 class abilities but they just aren’t the same. Dodge is a short term benefit ability and primarily a benefit to you alone. Rift and Barricade are long term benefit abilities and are useful to you and your team. For example: barricade at max resilience comes back in 14s and the barricade stays up for about 15s-20s. I’m not saying dodge shouldn’t have a cooldown increase, but just that fudge isn’t in the same boat as the other 2 class abilities. Anyway overall I’m fine with the change in PvP. I just don’t want to see people still complaining about it simply because they’re comparing it to abilities it has nothing in common with.

Agreed to the fullest. The only issue for me against dodge is how frequent someone uses it for a gunfight while the rift and barricade activation takes forever.
