It is INFURIATING to keep getting pinnacle gear in the same slot over and over
It is a complete waste of players’ time. It’s not like I only need one slot either. If this doesn’t change in year 4, there’s no reason to keep playing this game.

I remember when I would get mad over the pinnacle gear drops. Tip: the game is way more fun when you don't take it so seriously. It's not a race and it's not a big deal if you don't hit the light level cap... it's just going to go up again anyways.

I've learned to not do the pinnacle grind because of this factor. Once I hit the base I call it good and just go after the campaign when new ones come out. 🤷 No point playing the game constantly if the same shit drops

Ya, it needs to be set so each week a vendor or activity will all give a different engram. Ex. Shax : legs Zavala : helmet Drifter : heavy weapon Ect... Then each week it will rotate.

Are you familiar with car boot selling Its an English thing We all travel in our cars and vans loaded with household brick and brac to sell Its a fun day out and make a bit of cash At these car boot sales you can always find hard copies of games I highly recommend spending your Sunday day off visiting car boot sales and grabbing as many destiny disks as possible Then destroy them at your leisure There is nothing so pleasing as taking a sledgehammer to a pile of destiny disks

Same. ...I'm still 1052 base on all pieces. with FIVE 1055 arms in a row. Seems to be the same coming out of the umbral engrams as well. Lots and lots of arm pieces. Not sure why.

And bungie have not done diddly about it. So do what I did, stop caring so much about pinnacles and just play till you bored then move on till you have the urge to play destiny again. I get it, some of us are OCD about getting highest LL and just being ready for next season. But the second you stop stressing yourselves with the grind and just play once your close to max, then just ignore what you get and play for fun. I know it's a crappy idea, but it helps, believe me it does

Like on my warlock, I got 2 helmets straight and 2 bonds. What about the other slots? Chest? Boots? And weapons? Can't we have random drops in random slots that we haven't had a pinnacle drop in a slot that haven't recived yet?

I made like three posts about this and believe it’s Bungo’s algorithm to keep the carrot dangling. It’s -blam!-ing hilarious to see it week after week. On my Titan 3 helms and 3 rocket launchers all the same. On my Warlock 3 arms and 3 exact same fusion rifles. On Hunter three legs and 3 cloaks. At this point each week is just another troll by them.

I got my regular energy weapon drop this week. Same slot as last week and one before. I don't have the incentive to even do my other pinnacle quests anymore.

4 RepliesHonestly i just dont even care anymore. I just play,look for good rolls. If the gear makes my power higher great if not i dont let it bother me anymore. Its -blam!-ing absurd at this point how many energy pinns i have gotten over the last 3 weeks on all my characters. I gave up. Just play and have fun. In IB the 4 bounties in my warlock dropped the rocket launcher lol.
