I struggled with anxiety and depression. I still do. During my first semester on campus I went to the ER 4 times or would call the police. I was scared that something bad would happen all the time. If I go out at night or staying up late. I sometimes didn't even feel like getting out of bed sometimes. I still have those days. I like to think I've been getting better because I haven't called the police or made threats. But I feel like I let others down, that they couldn't have fun because of me. I have some issues with driving. For example I can take mom to the grocery store, but if she suddenly wants to go to a new place afterwards I can't do it. I feel like my "driving endurance" goes down and something bad is going to happen, idk what but that I won't be able to help. Funny thing is that I won't be able to drink underage or use a fake id at a bar near the campus, every cop knows me lol. They're nice people.

7 RepliesBeen homeless before. That wasn’t fun. My little brother was kidnapped once (don’t worry, he’s fine now). That wasn’t fun, either. Was stranded several states away from home before, because my step dad drove off with the car while we were on vacation. Also not fun. Was nearly killed by a dog when I was li’l, and nearly died in a house fire when I was older, but still li’l. Not very fun at all. Probably one of those.

The hardest was going through a divorce. It is like having a loved one die, but not. Dealing with all the things that go with it, it takes a tremendous toll.
