Calling it now. *edit*: "All is well, blah blah assessing casualties and damage, our military is best and I'll make a statement tomorrow"-trump. I'm willing to bet that between now and tomorrow (whenever the statement is) some retaliatory military action will have already taken place. Trump responded to Iran supporting an attack on our embassy by having one of their top generals killed. So I seriously doubt his plan now is "take it on the chin and do nothing" after they fire "tens of missiles" at our military. And honestly? I'm not sure how I feel about this. I don't like war. I see war as [i]in general[/i] as a waste of both lives and money. That said, I dont expect, or want, america to send a message that what they're doing and they've been doing is acceptable. The general wasnt killed just for the heck of it. And the people (cough, lefties) knee jerk reaction of [i]having to oppose the president on everything no matter what[/i] is just painful. The general responsible for the deaths of hundreds of american soldiers and god knows what else is just a poet minding his own beeswax. Apparently. Sad. Anyway. As far as I'm concerned taking out general salami was 100% justified given his actions. If iran wants to openly attack our military, as far as I'm concerned they are 100% justified in pushing back. But I'm anxious about what's gonna happen next. *edit* well the missile strike apparently didnt kill anyone. So apparently 'Murica doesnt feel the need to retaliate any further. So that's good.
