No they were not moron.. They said we could continuously grind out our power level well over the power cap if we wanted/invested our time while full well knowing that they weren’t being candid. With a hand full of powerful drops in game each week and those said drops only equating to a +1 to that specific slot we will not be able to reach anywhere as high as they so boldly said we could.

You can infinitely grind up your power each season through the seasonal artifact. Your power level through gear does have a cap.
