If they really wanted to make a game mode about skills, they would have nothing more than a set of gun to choose from fro that mode and nothing more

Well, no one said it's perfect. Ranked is supposed to be PvP arena in any game where you go to see how good you are. If it should be any rewards, it should be purely cosmetic like Apex Legends did.
