Actually I've played my share if harcore with a friend of mine. Was only fun for like 2 games before it turned into a slow-as-shit camping-fest, except for the objective modes. If you think playing hardcore gives you any validity, you probably stack in a room with your buddies and each point your guns at a door. That's the pattern I tend to notice.
And if you play hardcore, you really don't know shit about the weapon balance, do you? All it takes to be good in that mode is being slightly twitchy and spraying a full-auto weapon with low recoil. Again, those kind of people are the ones who think playing hardcore makes their opinion valid.
So tell me. Regular playlist CoD, where weapon balance actually matters and the skill gap is actually going to be shown off, and you can't exactly succeed just by hiding in a room like a little -blam!-. Give me a game that had at least 20 paid weapons where the 20 most powerful weapons weren't out of that pool.
Pro-tip: you can't. Just like you probably can't actually hit anything with a sniper that doesn't require knee or higher.
