It lasts for waaaay to long + most hunters are running it in pvp
Is there any plan for a fix anytime soon?

1 ReplyHunters are probably getting close 50% of the games population, their voice is the loudest. Fast to get buffs, slow to get nerfs. Always a super on top of the meta
-
Every Super needs duration decrease for pvp. For PvE keep the duration but a nerf to their duration and ob generation in pvp needs to happen. The one thing that snowballs in pvp (comp especially but also in QP) is supers and them being chained. It is too easy. And don't remind me of cheesy weapons like Jotunn or queensbreaker or thunderlord. (Jotunn especially. Idk what happend but it seems to track much more than usual and has a bigger blast radius. Even dodging and it still tracks) I don't want everything nerfed to the ground (for PvE's sake as I play that equally as much as pvp) but something's gotta give. Buffing everything for just 1 aspect of the game and leaving pvp aside (which a LOT of people still play) is not good for the other side of you community. They seem to be able seperate damage numbers for pvp and PvE scaling, why is duration and orb generation not one of them? Snowballing supers is not fun to play against especially considering that all supers are tanky as all hell EXCEPT for Golden gun.

Dude I'm annoyed about it too, but Devastator Titan supers absolutely wipe the floor with Spectral Blades

I like how to downvote/dislike is hidden behind those three dots...
not really
Because everyone are tired of nerf. And no one care about D2 PVP anymore. Its Bungie fault to cater better skilled players. The average skilled players are gone now.

2 RepliesEdited by Clancy238: 3/18/2019 3:35:31 AMI like how people are complaining about an ability that is supposed to be overpowered, but not complaining about how the Hunter class can’t get an insta-kill cooldown non-super ability, but Titans and Warlocks can. Titans get Shouldercharges (can infinite with skullfort) and OHK at close range Warlocks get Supernova grenades that OHK at close range Hunters can only insta-kill with their supers and none of their other cooldowns. Tell me why the Precision Throwing knife doesn’t OHK in Crucible on a Headshot. Would it be because Hunters would be unbalanced??? I don’t think so if Titans and Warlocks can execute those OHKs safely even if it is at close range and with Hunters, it’s kind of hard to land a throwing knife on a player, much less a headshot so you should be rewarded with a kill by hitting a Precision hit with a throwing knife

Hunter main here. It does last way too long, however I think this is the only change required, otherwise they'll neuter like they did Blade barrage. That's the reason there are so many spectral blades. BB sucks now.

1 ReplyDid you see what happened to nova warp? After bungie destroyed the class everyone is scared to say anything because it would get the same treatment. Bottom tree strikers got nerfed because their super literally lasted a full game on crucible, you literally wouldn’t run out of it. No one is talking about spectral bladed because everyone knows that if another class gets nerfed, the next good thing on the line will be considered for nerfing next. So instead of crying about it, we embrace it. You know what needs to happen next? An actual buff to nova warp, who would’ve thought?
-
I agree man. It needs to be retuned. You can't have it all in one super (speed, quickness, invisibility, durability). That's like having a Mario kart character named Steve that gets the accerlation of Yoshi, the speed and toughness from Bowser, and the utilities from Mario.

7 RepliesI've gone up against many of those hunters and I'm proud to say that I am not one of them. They never got past my golden gun. Way of the outlaw for life!
-
5 RepliesGood call and for the record people are talking about it, they are just being ignored.
-
2 RepliesIt's being talked about. Bungie doesn't care.
-
Buff sentinel titans. Should be equal
-
5 RepliesWarlocks have bottom tree dawnblade and stormtrance with crown of tempest. Titans have bottom tree hammers, bottom tree striker and sentinels with doomfang Every class has a super that can last significantly long. Hunters are generally more popular and so you'll see more of them
-
23 RepliesBecause the majority of the fanbase are hunters and they dont want their own crap touched. As soon as titans and warlocks get something good the whole world(hunters) loses their minds.
-
Yes, it lasts way to long, and makes the hunters to hard to kill. It does seem to be overused in pvp, just like nova warp use to be. I am not one to ask for nerfs, but spectral blades is ridiculous and needs to be toned down big time!!
-
4 Replies- Insane hit registration. - Increased Super duration and increased damaged resistance while invisible. - Wallhacks. - Lasts forever with Gwisin Vest. - "Balanced super."
-
I've killed quite a few spectral blade hunters since getting back on. Not too bad :P
-
The state of SB rn is actually one of the biggest jokes in Destiny history. It can kill you 2 or 3 times in one run assuming you revive ASAP. Anything outside of supers/heavy do next to no damage to it and you can spam the attack to cross maps quickly with no penalty whatsoever
-
this game will never have a perfect balance which is why it's failing
-
It really needs a duration nerf, thats all
-
Jump. Try it.
-
They know that the clock is ticking on spec blades, tick tock, tick tock. I can't wait to blast, tbag, and cabbage patch a hunter who just runs out of that ridiculously long super. I may pinch a nip... wait what was I saying?
-
Hunters mega downvote
-
1 ReplyDuration is fine it does need an armor nerf ,so bungie logic nerf nova warp
-
It’s because the majority is a hunter
