Is Gambit Loot actually bugged, or is my RNG just this bad?
I keep getting cloaks from Gambit. I’m not joking. All I have been getting for the past 2 months are cloaks, cloaks, and more cloaks. Nothing else. Just cloaks. It’s really starting to p*ss me off.

Are you talking about Prime armor? I did the Reckoning 4 times last night at tier 3. I got 2 cloaks, boots and arms. No chest or Helmet. Regular gambit armor, I get a variety.

No, its bad. I've played at least 20+ matches of prime, and a ton of reckoning for the weeklies and to upgrade my synthesiser, and I've gotten 1 shotgun and 1 scout. Luckily division 2 is out now.

It’s the same shitty RNG Bungie uses for rewards to falsely inflate playtime. It’s a very old scam and what you cling to when you can’t design a game to be rewarding and fun to replay. It’s the sad truth.

5 RepliesWelcome to RNG, which they’ve only made worse and worse. First every weapon had static rolls. Then everything about the weapon became RNG, from the sight, to the Masterwork. They did the same to armors, and added randomly rerolling their stats when Masterworked. Now they added or are adding armor stats randomly rolling. And the low drop rate of the new Gambit weapons, and the new perks that only roll on the new weapons to my knowledge. Oh, there’s also new mods, that randomly appear on the new armor. Good luck! It will never get better. Such is Destiny.

The RNG in this game is one of the reasons many people left. I had a clan disband and several friends got tired of the BS. I took a break for a couple weeks and came back on reset. While trying to get armor I need on my second character I got 17 out of 20 weapons instead of armor. They be throttling the shit out of people. I love this game but when it gets to the point where you stop making progress it’s time for a break.
