Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from Dreamland!
. . .
I think? Everything seems to be made of yarn or fabric.. It’s kinda weird.. I’m
Sure whatever’s going on will pass, though!
So, let’s get right to business, shall we? I budgeted myself well enough this past week that I have some left over momey, that I’m thinking of using to buy a game. I can’t go buying a $60 game or anything, because I’m still poor, but I can buy something up to $40!
I’ve been in the mood for a LEGO game lately, so I was thinking LEGO The Incredibles, but LEGO games can be a little hit or miss so I’d like to know if it’s any good. Or any other LEGO game you’d recommend.
Nintendo also released Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn, a 3DS port of one of the only Kirby games I haven’t played. I heard it’s kind of a bad port, though, and I could just get the original. I do kinda want to try that Devilish Mode, though!
And not a game, but I was considering picking up the Lilo & Stitch TV series, because I loved it as a kid, and there’s apparently a Kim Possible crossover episode? I kinda want to see that.
And finally, there was this really pretty aquamarine necklace I wanted to buy. It’s only $17, so I could get that & a $20 game or something.
And of course, I’m also open to suggestion!
Tl;dr? Here’s my point!
I have some money for a game up to $40. I was thinking about LEGO The Incredibles, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn, and (not a game) Lilo & Stitch Complete TV Series for nostalgia’s sake.
So, an opinion on the game’s I’m asking about, or a separate suggestion altogether would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, folks! Jambuhbye!
let me emphasize one more time. Up to $40.
1 ReplyLittle bit out of left field, I know, but there is this really underrated fighting game that I enjoy. It is called Absolver and it hits the 30 dollar mark. Some gripes I have with it though is that it is kind of short, but the combat system is sooo fleshed out, that I just have to recommend it. If you are talking about a LEGO game to get, I'd say LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. (Incredibles is a solid choice, too.)

3 RepliesEdited by SuperStormDroid: 3/15/2019 3:59:46 PMYou should check out CrossCode if you haven't already. It's only $20. Or you can wait for the Switch version. Seriously, do not miss out on this awesome 16-bit game.

2 RepliesPersonally I would save for Sekiro, but if you don't want to save money right now I'd recommend Borderlands the Handsome Collection if looter shooters is your thing, otherwise I'd probably say give Dragon Age Inquisition or any of the SoulsBorne games a chance.

5 RepliesEdited by shell: 3/15/2019 1:00:00 PMNieR: Automata: Game of the Yorha edition is $40 if you haven't played it yet. The DLC honestly isn't worth the higher price, so if you can find the vanilla game physically you might save some money. I also might suggest the Shantae series. I'm not sure about the quality since I haven't played it very much, but they are all around $15. Might be worth a look?

3 RepliesRise of the Tomb Raider was a really good game. I recommend it. Haven’t played the new Shadow of the Tomb Raider though.

1 ReplyTitanfall 2, a game worthy of its modern warfare predecessors.

6 Replies*boots the door open* STARDEW VALLEY!
yes, we've had this conversation before but I'm obligated to mention it whenever someone asks for video game recommendations
_______ Ok, seriously though. not sure how you feel about strategy games, but you should track down a copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening, that's my recommendation

1 ReplyThe LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game

9 RepliesDark souls 3 baby, or dark souls remastered.
-
5 Replies3DS games? Can’t really help you there 😔 Animal Crossing: New Leaf is pretty fun though.
-
3 RepliesLego worlds is fun

1 ReplyMight be a little more on the strategic side, but if you can get an emulator running Final Fantasy Tactics Advance you’re in for a VERY good time.
-
1 ReplyLego LoTR on 3ds is very fun As for the Lilo and Stitch tv show, it's pretty good too. I liked it. There was some reruns on recently and they were enjoyable

2 RepliesI still cannot recommend Dragon Quest Builders enough, and it's only £35 on Amazon. HOWEVER!!! There is a sequel coming out soon, that basically looks to be a bigger and better version of the original. This means two things: 1. You could potentially be better off waiting for the sequel. 2. When it releases, the original could be even cheaper. But who knows...

3 RepliesEdited by Lia: 3/14/2019 10:44:28 PMTitanfall 2 Doom 2016 Horizon Zero Dawn if you have a PS4 Idk about prices but each of these have been out for at least 1 year and the prices must have dropped by now.

2 RepliesDaggerfall. The TES2 is free to play. Guaranteed 40+ hours of entertainment.
-
5 RepliesDivinity Original Sin 2. Its an old school top down turn based RPG similar to Baldurs Gate or something. All things that I would normally steer clear of, but in this case I gave it a shot because it was getting rave reviews (it’s sitting on 92% metacritic rating I think). I’m so glad I did because it’s one of the best games I’ve played over the last couple of years. It’s one of those “just another 5 minutes” games that eats up your time. Great sense of exploration, deep involved quests, really fun and rewarding combat, huge variety of options for different builds and playstyles. It’s everything a good RPG should be and I highly recommend it.

1 ReplyKirby’s Epic Yarn was tight on the Wii. Idk abt. the port tho

2 RepliesEdited by Psyntifik: 3/14/2019 8:45:50 PMBought this on Steam for crazy cheap the other day. A boss battler. One hit and you're dead, but the same goes for the bosses, too. My only problem with it is the camera can be a bit erratic and messy, but otherwise a really fun game.
Or there's that mouse game... "Tale" something or other. It finally came to Ps4 like, 2 days ago...
