3 headshots or 4 body shots n I'd agree completely. Or better yet headshots should give two stacks instead of one so two heads and a body would proc the boom, or 5 body's, or one headshot and 3 bodies. Ud hafta reduce the timer for the bolts to unstack though and not count team shots with it tho for balance.

1 Replythat would be a great idea, but the problem comes than in PvP. you have to shoot 3 times in the body for the kill. I‘ve been waiting so long to see a buff on malfeasence. it is so useless... the only times I use it is when I feel like to hold in my hands (it‘s a great weapon from the design, but it‘s so useless in many ways.

It's great. I never used anything else in PvE and Gambit, best in slot.. But it sucks in PvP.

2 RepliesI think it would hurt pve if it dropped to 3 hit explosions, at the moment you can gun down majors in a clip in gambit and clip n half for ogre. If they only exploded on 3 I think the damage would be quite noticeable. It’s fine as it is tbh, I use it all the time

I would easily take 4 with a compensation of reducing the capacity to 12 rounds. It does decent damage, but the five required rounds is a bit much. In PvE, most things die before five shots unless it has a shield or is a major, and PvP, most players die in five shots, precision or otherwise, making the explosion kind of pointless under most circumstances. And I get it's a Gambit weapon, but putting all that time and effort into a weapon only to be used on literally one kind of enemy in very specific circumstances is such a waste. Even with the boost to Taken, it's still too much of a novelty item, imo. We really need less novelty exotics and more useful ones.

7 RepliesThen shoot one with a friend. Or, even better, use 6 in a raid... See the concept of the gun now? Even in pvp, you can pile them into your team and instantly melt people. It is a 180 rpm hand cannon that is already in the top 5 to use in pvp... that can take supers out. I understand if you are a solo only player... but then again, what is good for you is not how the game is designed and I mean this with no disrespect to you. Make it good for you, makes it too strong in all areas of the game.

I think the explosions could be bigger. It's good in gambit, against taken, and against majors but I think if the explosions affected surrounding enemies more consistently it'd be a great primary.
