If nova warp needs a nerf, so does blade barrage.
Ya know what? -blam!- this, I give up.
Hunter mains know whats best. Let's nerf the voidwalker again despite blade barrage being an instant 0 skill, 0 effort counter to everything in the entire game.
While we're at it lets give titan and warlock a blade barrage of their own and just change it slightly plus their own shards and then we'll all have a perfect and balanced panic super and there's no need for roaming supers anymore because the panic super kills everything anyway.
You all win. -blam!- it. I don't care, the game can stay boring and hunters everywhere will rejoice at yet another year of easy -blam!-ing supers. I'm done arguing just to be countered with, "but it's one and done" because that means that BB is fine and nova bomb being buffed will totally make it just as good.
Oh and the arguments that compare BB to nova bomb and thundercrash keep on coming. What don't you people get about the fact that there is NO comparison. Look at the -blam!-ing statistics people! Why the -blam!- is blade barrage used over the nova bomb and thundercrash if they're the -blam!-ing same skill level and effectiveness?
There's nothing to compare! The Blade barrage is simply superior. It requires less thought than any super in the game, you don't need to aim at all and there is no risk, the armor you get is so high that very little can kill you and if by some miracle you are killed, you probably didn't use the super so you get it back on spawn.
Nova bombs can kill the user just as easily if not more easily than the target. Thundercrash is harder to use effectively in smaller spaces. Blade barrage works everywhere, small space, open space, whatever. -blam!- me, people are so ignorant.

Edit: how the -blam!- is this trending? I'm getting more gate filled comments and shit than not... Welp, keep that rage fueled conversation going peeps, I'll check back again in a few days. Oh and happy new year and all that crap

Blade barrage is fine on its own but with shards its broken. They just need to fix shards(buggy double kill 97% super back) by making kills give more but hits give less.

If I had to 1v1 a nova or a bb I'd pick bb. Now if it's MAYHEM then rather take nova. Love nova in normal pvp and for hunter I rather be nightstalker or arc.

Bungie will nerf them for balance reasons, not because people are crying about it. Just like most everything they’ve ever nerfed, they’ll do it because too many people are using it

I agree blade barrage is broken but not nearly as broken as nova warp I was literally behind three walls and got killed by a blast from nova warp.

Nerf them also? No. NW is tanky, roams, huge AoE, built in blink and has health regent on kill. NW is the problem here. Shards of galanor shouldn't even be in the equation. Its an EXOTIC. They're meant to be POWERFUL. The crucible isn't a balanced sweat MLG haven and it never will be. You're playing a game about space magic. So stop bitching when you're killed by it. Unless you want to drag us back to vanilla.

Honestly blade barrage needs to either have less armor or take more self damage... That way roaming supers could trade with it at least when the BB user panics with it. MAYBE slightly less aggressive tracking so it cant wipe a team that is split 30m apart from eachother.... Now... that being said, pro tip for all of you hunter mains.. You can shadestep blade barrages whilst in your roaming super. The more damage resistance the higher chance of survival, so invis spectral and bottom tree arcstrider have the best chance, goldie has the least... I havent been barraged out of my spectral in quite a while and I actually use my spectral to bait barrages in comp...

Edited by Odyss3us SW4G: 12/29/2018 6:06:55 AMI will say that you can get away from a blade barrage but the only way I have been able to is banner shield tanking the super entirely or Antaeus Wards with shoulder charge, hammer strike, shield bash. I think if timed right blink or teleport can get out of it but it's a lot harder to pull off. Regardless, something should be changed in regards to both Nova Warp and Blade Barrage and/or their related exotics. Nova warp does take the cake as far as priority goes because they roam and Blade Barrage only becomes a major issue during mayhem especially with shards however, It is an instant win button in most cases like mentioned. Edit: Something could also be said for the amount of players using specific classes. Of my 17576 crucible kills, hunters make up 44% of that total at 7764 which is 2300+ more kills than I have on titans and 3300+ more kills than warlocks. This information by no means proves anything as there are a multitude of reasons the numbers could be this skewed nevertheless, it is an interesting statistic. If anyone wants to see these stats for their character in-game look at the Victorious Veteran emblem in the competitive category in your collections or talk to Shaxx for the emblem.

Seriously why do we have to keep nerfing and buffing everything. Every time Bungie fixes something , they break something else Next week everyone will be complaining that Tether is Overpowered and needs to be nerfed Why can't everyone just be happy with the game as it is.

5 RepliesDont forget about the Hunter's other invincible super. Spectral Blades takes them off radar, and they can one shot any super just by running and spamming one button. Combine that with an exotic that gives them super energy for getting kills and its just as OP as BB. I tried both Spectral blades and BB and Im a Warlock main. Everyone complains about Nova Warp and how broken it is. Sure its blast radius could be lowered to balance it out, but those two supers need a nerf just as bad. Not to mention the One-Eyed mask is still an OP exotic in its own right. Everyone that cries about how broken nova warp is has never even gotten on a warlock and played with them. Warlocks never had anything that allowed them to keep up with Hunters and Titans. All our exotics are for neutral game and don't give that many benefits. Almost all our exotics are for getting our abilities back faster and work better in PVE. Now that Warlocks have something that can help them keep up with Hunters and Titans with their bs exotics now they cry to have it nerfed. Bungie favors Hunters and Titans. Let us Warlocks have some love now. Give us some exotics that will help us out like Hunters and Titans have if you're going to nerf our one good super.

7 RepliesI'd like to see the average kills per super for Nova Warp and Blade Barrage in PVP. I can guarantee you that Nova Warp is at least double Blade Barrage.
