FIX YOUR MATCHMAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all i dont mind to wait few minutes to get a match, i get penalized for leaving 2 match in a row when i got 2 vs 4 two times back to back, if i am going solo would love to play against other solo players, and the most important thing if i am in the US would like to play with people in the same country i dont wanna play with people from Zimbabwe that has a bucket of water plugged in to their modem. I am sick and tired of getting shot trough walls, or people being internet wizards teleporting everywhere. that seen to happen very often. so i would suggest few ideas to fix it.
1- solo players against solo players and full fire teams against full fire teams.
2- create 3 pools of players depending of the level of skills. ranking and leveling up to each pool depending of the number of wins or xp on pvp. the more points or wins you have you will be playing in the try hard pool.( I am sure bungie has the data to do it).
3- if i am level 50 600 light with plus 100 competitive games played, I dont wanna have the level 20 blue weapons just got the game type in my competitive team make him earn that spot of accessing to the competitive list playing other pvp modes. for example you unlock competitive just if you have 100 games played on quick play. or earn certain amount of points on pvp to unlock that rank.
not salty just i see potential in the game but after 4 years playing since D1 i get the point that we as a comunity and consumers are in the right to demand a quality way of have fun and getting our money worth.

yeah the comp list is a pretty big frustration of mine. I am really not sure how their matchmaking works but it feels very broken. esp the solo's vs stacks. played a few days ago in comp and first few games play people with a kd of 0.6. get a streak of 2 going. play a game where they are mostly 1.0kd players and get a win. get the streak to three and feel like I am going places. team I was in was a 1.0, 1.1, 1.4 (me) and a 1.6 kd. the 4th game we get matched to a team who's KD was 1.7, 1.8 and two 1.9's lol. needless to say we got smashed. figure ok streak is gone and we have to build up, if we win 3 out of 4 on a regular basis we will easily make it. game five we match to the exact same 1.9 double again paired with two 1.7kd players lol. doesnt make sense to match us vs 0.6's anymore than it did the 1.9's lol. I just dont get how they match people. plus my biggest hate is matching me trying to get a luna vs a team who have them. How do I play people in the next bracket or two up. surely part of comp is you play within your bracket?

I saw someone answer this on another post and that person said it is because destiny 2 is a peer to peer connection. If you have a 0.5kd you get to play with most of how ever much destiny players are playing pvp at the time at any time of day(numbers are getting lower). The higher your kd the less players in your matchmaking pool. So if a player has 2+kd 2,000 people have a better kd than that person and that includes people who just made an account to farm kd and people who don't play even play anymore. So a high kd player will have an estimate of 200 people worldwide they can play with at anytime. Meaning the lag from peer to peer will be immense. I understand you don't want to play better players and want to punish good players. But its peer to peer not dedicated servers. Quickplay is a quick game. Forcing dedicated destiny players that spent time and effort to be good at the game only to be stuck matchmaking for 10 minutes isn't "quickplay", waiting that long only to match with people with your skill level from across the ocean will just cause lag/frustration. All that just to make people who most likely do not care or barely play pvp happy?

Seriously, I have been solo queing for the luna's howl and was at 1020/1050 for heroic but then I have got a 3v4 for now 3 out of the 4 past games and just straight garbage team mates on others. Back down now...

Bro I completely agree. I think Bungie needs to do all solo players if you go in solo, duo fire teams with strictly duo fire teams, and fireteams of four of course against other four stack teams. For stacks of three you can do 3v3 matches or of course put a single in for each team. Completely even. Halo 3 did it perfectly 90% of the time. Like you said, I don’t mind waiting a few more minutes for a game if they’re searching for a similar stack. I doubt most other players would as well.

It's the biggest problem in the game. I just came from a crucible match where we had <100s in a match with a 600 guy with not forgotten and 1000 voices. Do you think the <100s had fun in that match? Could they have fun in any match?

In Battlefield you play as a level 1 player against level 150 players in one match and in CoD as a level 1 against level 55, that can be very frustrating for the beginners and casuals. Because of that unfair matchmaking bullsh1t i stopped all pvp activities. waiting for the hopefully great game without pvp...

I love bungies solution to the problem, just don’t show who your going against until your in the game and then give a penalty if you leave. Well that’s great, but guess what? With how OP luna an NF are with TTK it's about time Skill based matchmaking saw a return make the sweat play other sweatz instead of obtaining these weapons then just stomping all over quickplay.. I saw a match yesterday a stacked 6 man team all with luna wreck a 6 man solo team. Were they all had 20+kills positive to a full team of 6 max kills negative. In no other game wud u see this bungie has the worst matchmaking to date
