See linked image. See guy on bottom of our team. 1 mote banked. 29 lost!!!! He either joined only for the power drop, or more than likely, since he is at 30 between the 1 banked mote and 29 lost, he was going for a "Get large blockers" bounty, failed miserably, and decided to do nothing the rest of the match.
We were inches away from winning the game. We carried his sorry ass through one round, lost one, and were inches away from beating the other team on the final round. It was head to head. Had he carried his weight, we would have won by a landslide.
But we lost a nice streak because of that a-hole.
And don't give me that whole, "he paid for it, he can play how he wants" crap. NO HE CAN'T. Because he sabotaged the game for the rest of the team, and he ruined a nice streak for me and my clan mate.
I saw him when the primeval spawned. He was moving around but not "participating". He basically said "F-it" after he lost all those motes and didn't bother to help the "team". Had he thrown one grenade at the primeval we probably would've won. That's how close it was.
There is absolutely no excuse for what happened in this particular game.

Blame the incentive, not the player. You can sit around doing nothing to receive powerful gear. If his goal is merely that, and he doesn’t enjoy gambit, he’s not going to try very hard. If my team loses the first round, I’d much rather lose the second too to avoid another five minutes.

Man, wouldn’t want all these people on my team. Buncha selfish people who wouldn’t even hold open a door for someone. No one wants some jerk who doesn’t do anything and have to carry. Plus you all saying he was more hogging motes, but he gotta equals amount of kills. Plus, even if your going for a bounty, at least try to help other people. You don’t gotta sabotage others for your own selfish reasons. Don’t be that guy who jumps off the edge in comp just to get valor or just to complete matches. Imagine it like this, your doing a raid, but you get through the first encounter, and the guy who’s doing it with you keeps purposely dying. You can’t kick him, and you can’t do anything but leave and give up, or try and keep going but fail over and over, getting rid of all your revive tokens. Nah man, your in the right for complaining about some blueberry who was too selfish to help anyone other than himself. Gambit is something that is way to important to have someone just be dead weight and actually being a detriment.

2 Replies1. You need to chill the F out. 2. You have no idea what was going on in the other person's real life. I myself have LITERALLY had a fire alarm sound while playing this game. Forcing me to drop my controller grab my pets & leave my apt. No time to mic up & say: "Sorry. I have to leave due to a fire." I had to move RIGHT then & there. Said player could have been distracted or multitasking. Dealing with kids or who knows what. He had a bad game. Tough shit. 3. If the shoe was on the other foot you'd be seeing red because this thread is about you & you'd be making excuses about why your game was off. Shit happens. Chill out Gambit is NOT worth this worth drama, anger, or energy. Just brush it off your shoulders and move forward.

Wouldn’t that be a dick-ish move? Kind of like telling other people what to do that you have no right to. I think mommy is calling you to dinner now, so put down the controller, and go eat your vegetables. While you’re at it, take that thumb out your mouth.
