I have 2 characters around the 550 mark and I was perfectly happy playing up until last Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I can't bring myself to put destiny 2 in my disc tray whatsoever😂🤔. I looked at the details for festival of the lost also to try bring back the spark to me but it just doesn't want to return. I think I'm actually quitting destiny without even having to try and bring myself off of it.
Edit: Wow. First time trending😁. Thanks for all the mature feedback. I was expecting comments like "delete your characters and game and stop looking for attention" or the "git gud" trolls but no. There is some really interesting feedback. Thanks for that👍

Nope. Loving crucible right now.
-
Nope my spark for playing the game came back with forsaken and it hasn’t gone away since.
-
👍 same here think it’s definitely an Improvement I like it but yeah just hit a wall where I really can’t be bothered to play at moment I will be back on might give it a week or so and see what happens
-
1 ReplyPlay a different game, don’t play every day. It’s okay to loose interest in a game. I’m at a point of playing once or twice during the week and/or weekends. Still like the game but I am liking sleep more.
-
1 ReplyGood for you! I took a break during the cursed O siris, the base game got incredibly boring for me, I was pretty disappointed with destiny 2 forsaken is 10 times better in my opinion!
-
1 ReplyGetting close, not quite. Honestly if I’m able to finish the raid and get some new forsaken exotics to drop, before moving onto another game it may keep me on board for future DLC releases. The progression and RNG is what is taking the excitement out the game for me. It’s just not rewarding enough given the time spent playing the game. I have a warlock that I would like to level up and re-enjoy the content but In my head I’m thinking, I do not want to do this grind again once I put this game down.
-
5 RepliesPretty close to it. Completing powerful rewards and getting maybe 1 or 2 point power level increases in each item(overall power level going from 550 to 551) in the course of the week has absolutely killed my drive to keep at it.
-
The lack of exotics and throttled progression makes it way worse
-
Good thing is that a lot of game are coming out
-
2 RepliesYer im prity burned out been playing alot since warmind came out and have just got board of doing the same stuff every week for 3 characters it feels more like a choir rather than sumthing enjoyably

Edited by Alexxg777: 10/13/2018 1:00:07 PMBungholes are a bunch of morons. Current team (I do not mean old team of Halo and D1 launch time) are highly unprofessional in gamedev. They ignore modern knowledges from neuroscience/psychology how to make people play and play again. The best gamedev companies hire special consultants who are experts in human motivation and can plan and predict players' interest. But Bungos are above all modern science, they keep inventing their own crooked way :)

7 Replieshere's the problem i have. i'll get a brief moment of... I feel like i want to run a couple strikes. but my playtime is limited. so, if i run the strikes... then i won't be able to do these other activities (that i don't really want to do), but feel like i need to because those will actually drop a power engram. so i sludge though those other activities.... never really playing what i 'WANT" to play. it's gotten to be more of a chore than actually having fun.
-
I mean, there’s other stuff to play no ones forcing you, I’m 600 on a. Character and I’m literally just grinding til I get my thousand voices and not forgotten
-
I feel the same way, I've lost the motivation to play.. Forsaken was a masterpiece but it's the same old destiny we've known from the start. Also festival of the lost looks boring.. So yeah glad I'm not the only one. There's a lot more to say but I'll stop here.. 🙏

2 RepliesPretty much I mean I didnt play for a year and have been playing forsaken for 2 weeks and it's just boring and still not a good game. Lots of big titles are coming so hopefully you will find some interest in them
-
2 RepliesMan, I tried to stick it out for as long as I could; but it's really starting to get to me. It's not even just the exotics or the infusion costs; it's just this game has become more of a chore to play rather than an enjoyable experience. Also, seeing Bungie revert back to screwing over players, taking way to long to fix basic problems, and spewing generic "we're listening to feedback" at every complaint is not helping. I'll probably still continue playing during the holiday events and the annual pass expansions (cause I was dumb and bought the annual pass). However, with the plethora of games coming out this year that seem to fit into the same niech Destiny does I feel like my time for this game will become less and less.
-
I didn’t make it as long as you did but yes.
-
2 RepliesI have become tired of having to do the same thing over and over again. Never had a new Exotic drop and the masterwork core situation has literraly stopped me from playing much at all.
-
I feel that way too. I do all the weekly bounties just for engrams that drop below my light level. It's a total slap in the face for the time I put in. I miss when powerful engrams were guaranteed to drop higher gear.
-
After i complete everything and i know i can't really bump up my light. I started playing Skyrim again, man i forgot how addicting that game is
-
1 ReplyIts really amazing how people should think of a novel concept of... play more than just one game? Lol. Its called burnout. Play at your own pace, and for goodness sake don't just play one game.
-
Yep. No innovation.
-
Not being able to upgrade or masterwork any my gear has tiered me out. Bungie take to long to act on these things, by the time they do players have already lost interest
-
Honestly with the past few dlc I was like that. Play the game for a month and just lost my interest in the game. I wasn't totally stoke when forsaken was announced. Sure I was exicted for new content again but in the end I had a feeling after a month I get just bored of the game. Honestly I'm kind of their because my main character is 567. I get everything done besides the raids by Friday. But what is really keeping my interest in the game is my new clan. I never really had a clan before and now I finally have people I want to play with all the time. Reasons to get on destiny and play. So maybe that's why I'm not totally losing interest. Plus im not a big COD fan and I don't really have any other games coming out that I'm really hype for. Anthem looks interesting but I'm not totally sure about it yet. For me I'm still looking foward to getting on destiny whenever I can and even if I don't feel like playing it I don't have to. I understand lots of people are disappointed or upset with destiny right now but for me I'm just enjoying the game.

I haven’t lost interest exactly. Yet, I do find this game less entertaining than it used to be, but that’s just because I have some other games I just got into
