Macros for weapon switching

I was just making sure i wasn’t breaking any rules by using a macro or Razer Synapse to bind my super, class ability and power weapon switch to my mouse for pvp? Is that all okay to do? Sorry but im new to pc gaming.

  • Hey just bind your key functions to your mouse buttons in razer synapse than assign them in the keybindings options screen. This is not macro using. Did it since d2 launched. It is no reason for a ban until it is not a pre-recorded keypress sequence.

  • Please be aware that using any program to capture inputs or to force inputs that weren't given to the game may (and has a very real chance to) be caught by the anti-cheat, leading to a report of what the program was doing, which may lead to a ban. I'm not saying it will, just that you should be well informed that if you choose to do so, you may get banned. You should also be very careful of what terminology you use, as using any form of input manipulation such as one-key to multi-key combos (normally what people consider when they say 'macro') has a high chance of leading to a ban if it's detected. If you can, use the in-game button configuration to edit your inputs if possible. If it's not possible, then I suggest posting in #feedback concerning what you want to be able to do.
