First, stop asking people to stop asking for nerfs, it'll never stop because Bungie is terrible at balancing Destiny, 5 years and they still can't get it right, they've never learned how to balance they just transfer power from one thing to another, always have and that's likely to continue for the rest of Destiny's life span. There will always be some form of meta and it'll just roll from one to another, to another. Second, you can thank the Youtubers and the Twitch players, every time these people call attention to weapons and get more people to use them they're hit with nerfs, see a video like "Whisper kills every raid boss in one phase"..and then you're surprised when they pull the power down? Bungie..aren't all that smart when it comes to Destiny, they frequently out pace critical thinking for "sounds cool on paper" the community draws too much attention to everything and they then notice their screw up...Don't "require" things like Whisper for raids..That's how you get nerfed, the same reason why Gjallarhorn was pulled back. It's deeply ironic that this community frequently asks for more power but are completely incapable of handling it responsibly. I told my friend when Whisper came out after a few videos were posted "Stop making "MOST POWERFUL GUN IN THE GAME" videos....STFU....Just take then gun and walk away or they'll take it away".....I'm never surprised by nerfs anymore, it's either overpowered and the community blows up about it, or people start making it requirements for everything they do.
