A lore friendly reason why exotic drop rates are garbage
What if the Trickster stole all of the exotic engrams she could find, and planted explosives on all of them. That would mean the engrams in the Trickster mission were REAL, but had a ludicrous amount of Fallen explosives attached to them.

43 RepliesThe trickster is female? That doesnt make any sense what so ever, had this been 2008 I guarantee the trickster would be male, also the mechanist. The trickster genre of character has always been male, it has never been in a females nature to trick others whether it be malicious or not. Having said all that I would like to let it be known I myself am female.

Could you imagine the absolute salt. After people grinding 40+ hours they FINALLY see that yellow shiny godly glow. They drop everything, rush to it as hard as they can. Slide into it and.....BOOM so hard it sends you back to orbit. I would have to laugh even if it happened to me.

1 ReplyWhat if exotic engrams drop chance was attached to those one rigged, the more you blew during the mission ( lets say each one was minus 1%) the lower your overall dropchance in game.. Just think about that!!!!

2 RepliesI keep trying to explain to people here lore friendly reasons for many things in game such as certain quests' steps but people can't stop complaining about having to do a little bit of something they don't like. Seriously, if you really hate the activity that you need to play to the quest and can't be bothered to do it then you don't deserve the gun.

Well for what it's worth, the trickster had huge piles of exotic engrams so that's probably why the drop rate is low, they're all rigged to explode.

Actually, this makes the drop rates even better. All the Exotics were hordes by the Trickster to destroy the Tower and such, this making Exotics more rare since they all blew up.
