Another tip Large Blocker is NEVER worth the risk. It's not that much better than a medium. Also, never hold notes for longer than 2 enemy spawns

Let's not forget the asshole portal campers. Seen it too many times now where someone on my team sits behind the portal and when I think I am going in... NOPE or it is gone the moment it get put up. Finally took time to turn around and look and I saw someone just sitting there THE WHOLE -blam!-ING MATCH! I tend to not pick up motes but I will kill off enemies quickly so my teammates can load up on them... Till I realize my team is gangbanging a goddamn Dreg.... JUST FOR THE LOVE OF -blam!-ING GOD!

2 RepliesHad a game a few days ago where we were 1 single mote away from summoning the primeval before the other team and the dude who had the last mote went and leaped into the portal like a lemming and died and then we got a large blocker put on us and we lost the round. Literally because of one mote.

I love gambit but it bothers me that a match can be lost so easily just by having someone on your team who decides to throw the game.

To add to it: 1) if you have enough to put up a blocker(s) and/or open the portal while you see the other team is just holding motes/not banking, bank your motes. 2) before you invade, if you have motes, take a sec to bank them instead of risking losing them. people rush to be rambo so bad, it ends up hurting the team instead of helping

2 RepliesIf you have pets please relocate them to another room and magically ward the door in case of How The Hell Did You Get Out. I can't tell you how many times my cat has sought affection as I was in the middle of Gambit, 10+ motes and runnin' like mad to bank them, only to have my furry little friend head ram the controller, stick their tail 'n butt combo in my face and cause my Warlock to plummet to his demise. I could hear the blueberries screaming from across the continents.

Haven't touched Gambit, been seeing a lot of complaints about it though, sounds bad, but I will play it eventually and form my own opinion. I'm taking my time with this expansion.
