Thing is, I eat hot wings while playing a lot, and I know this shirt is gonna see some love. Never gonna take it off, never gonna hang it up. Keeping the pit stains at bay will be the real challenge, but I'm wondering if you can recommend the best care regimen? I would pay the $777,777.77 right now if the bungie store let me, I can't wait for this shirt. So do you recommend fabric softener or not? Any laundry detergent in particular? I can get my mom on this...
Thanks.

Just remember, the one cure all to any hard stain is a combination of hair spray/lighter. I love how Bungie is adding "prestige status" to items in the shop by making players feel like they've earned the right to buy it. I don't plan on buying it either way, even if I had the money to spare, but I find it truly hillarious that the marketting plan for this shirt is basically "We'll make it special by making you earn the right to spend your money on it." XD

1 ReplyI don’t see why everybody is hating on the shirt. Bungie gives us activities to complete so that the shirt is available to purchase for the elite players only. The one thing you have to remember guys is the Bungie store donates money to Saint Jude’s children’s hospital with every purchase. Just by playing Destiny and completing triumphs you are helping save the lives of kids everywhere. Kick some ass and buy the shirt. It’s fun.

What’s really funny is that this is what they reply too and not the real issues. Jokes on us again!

Never gonna take it off, never gonna hang it up.
Were you channeling Rick Astley here? I though for sure after I read that line, I would be getting Rick-rolled.

4 RepliesAll the previous MOT shirts shrank. :( My OG "Halo 2 Flaming Ninja, Bungie Fan Fest 2003 Ninjas on Fire May 15, 2015 LA Convention Center Los Angeles, CA Annual event of The 7th Column" still runs true to size. :)

1 ReplyDon't use fabric softener, use white vinegar (not joking)

8 RepliesDon't wash it!!! If you do the print will start to peel and expose the D1 triumph shirt they reused underneath!

Please remember to post up a picture of you wearing the T-shirt on social media so I can attach the obligatory Nelson from The Simpsons meme.

I love moist towelettes 😱

You will probably be charged to get this information from bungie. Also you will probably only get half the answer like how Destiny 2 gave us no content

3 RepliesI'm not doing it again. A -blam!-ing novelty participation award that you have to pay shipping and handling for? What the -blam!- was I even thinking the first time around....

5 RepliesSome of the most harmful ingredients in dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener alike include benzyl acetate (linked to pancreatic cancer), benzyl alcohol (an upper respiratory tract irritant), ethanol (linked to central nervous system disorders), limonene (a known carcinogen) and chloroform (a neurotoxin and carcinogen), among others. Since fabric softeners are designed to stay in your clothes for extended periods of time, such chemicals can seep out gradually and be inhaled or absorbed directly through the skin. Liquid fabric softeners are slightly preferable to dryer sheets, as the chemicals in dryer sheets get released into the air when they are heated up in the dryer and can pose a respiratory health risk to those both inside and outside the home. Avoid using them at all cost.

1 ReplyWill the shirt have a breast pocket, to hold my salt shaker?

2 RepliesI use the one from D1 to wear on laundry day. Ugliest shirt I own. I'm not bothering this time. There is no triumph in D2.

I hear Valspar makes a great fabric softener. You should try it.

4 RepliesI couldn't afford fabric softener once I've paid for international deliver and import tax.

If you’re never going to take it off are you going to get in the washing machine? Or will mum hose you down whilst your sat on the couch?
