Raid armor reskin.
Checked the “new” armor out at the raid vendor... was very excited to see what new gear would be there as raid gear is often the most unique and inventive.
It’s literally just the eater of worlds gear.. with a few new bells and whistles..
Come on.

1 Replyi was discovering the raid with my team today, we stopped at the boss because half of us were under 350 light we decided to do it tomorrow again, we went to the tower, saw the rewards, so tomorrow im going to hang out with friends instead of doing the raid. i will watch the strat on yt, do it a few times and thats it. i wont farm for armor that should be EoW ornaments. they are LAZY as -blam!-, i was glad to have something to farm with all the things to collect....but they dont give a toss -2 strikes that are just the missions (first time we see a last boss of the story mode becoming a strike), so we had like 5 missions and 2 of them are strikes too.....sorry but thats false advertising, you cant sell a dlc saying you have 5 story missions, and 2 new strikes, when they clearly arent. -armors are pure lazy reskins of eow armor that are considered as the ugliest armor set of the destiny franchise -no raid weapons but a fusion and a sidearm that should have been in the first raid. why bungie ? why are you doing that to us ? you had an awesome community...then you decided to act liek assholes and liars to us. you divided one of the best communities ive seen in video games, now this is just all about hate and sadness.... enjoy your non deserved money bungo....

Not to mention the Vanguard and Crucible Season 3 ornaments are just different decals. Season 2 ornaments actually changed the armor around a bit. Why Bungie?

Then the ornaments actually added graphical hologram effects later on... My gosh I loved this. I enjoyed the fact that the perks helped out in the raids they came from too so Sherpas could help more new people. (I did this a couple times) I want, desire, and hope for the day armor stops being reskinned and reused. Taking a model of armor and giving it a new shader, when we can literally equip the same color on a different set of it from another activity is just bad design for a game like this. Let's not even talk about not having good looking strike specific armor. (I know D1 reskinned gear but at least it was done well XD now it's just copy and paste) (The raid gear was always unique and different) (Psion Flayer Mantles, Bone Helmet, Malok Helmet, Taniks Cloak, Bond Brother's arm piece, Omnigul bond, Tentacle Guantlets, Titan Mark from Undying Mind, Ogres Grasp Hunter Guantlets, Devouring Maw warlock helmet, not to even mention the Weapons) Bungie needs to honestly sit down and compare the D1 strike specifics and raid gear to D2's. Only a blind person wouldn't see the thought, time, and care put into the D1 stuff. :) I'm just hoping they realize this all soon. NO MORE RESKINS REEEEEEeeee.

1 ReplyAs a titan, I have only ever asked once for a set of titan armor to make them look fat as a joke...never would I have thought I cursed myself by doing so. I hate all the raid armor right now. It sucks because the raids, trials, and strikes had some of the more unique items to use...but now it's all so ugly. Why are titans like...crabs for trials?

Shocking isn’t it! I’ve always gone for the raid armours and tried to get the full sets on each class. Might as well just add a gold shader to my EOW gear and claim I’ve got the ornaments

4 RepliesYeah they really dropped the ball with all of the armor in this dlc. Sure we got new Ana and EP armor (which all look fantastic), but that's no reason to neglect everything else. Poor Trials isn't even getting new ornaments lmao.
