I'd bet you would not last two weeks in his job.
Edit: Thank you all for proving my point. You guys overreact to one random post. Luke has to deal with a community full of nonsense. *tips hat*

Nice straw man. Defending incompetence by challenging critics to do better. Laughable argument of an apologist.
I'd bet you would not last two weeks in his job.
lol I can tell you what else I wouldn’t do.... Take all the awesomeness out the sequel that made the original great!!! That I damn sure wouldn’t do...

Luke Smith : creator Monster: player You: tryhard

Let me give it a shot! I love a challenge. On a side note: I'll bet YOU can't manipulate a subsea robot a mile below sea level turning a needle valve a quarter turn involving a 2D screen in a 3D environment with 4D physics.

Can't upvote, the hate is too strong. I tried but it stays 0.

Edited by Househ0ld item: 4/11/2018 8:05:08 AMNeither should Luke Smith. What's your point? Because the OP couldn't last 2 weeks makes it Ok for Luke Smith to rinse everyone of money?

Edited by KaosSoulja: 4/11/2018 8:00:46 AMI’m sure anyone would be able to bumble around like an idiot for at least 3 weeks....plus it’s high odds you would even get promoted
-
At least we wouldn’t get advice from 5 year olds on making games.
-
He wouldn't last 5 minutes in mine.

Want some fries with that salt?
-
Na mate. I prefer wedges or skins to be honest.

Edited by Sellout: 4/10/2018 7:02:13 PMThat doesn’t mean we can’t say he did a terrible job. I don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see a rocket explode 100 ft off the ground and say “you phucked up on that one”.
-
-
I would not, I can’t cheat people and still sleep at night.
-
You cant be sure.

This is a fallacy. We're not debating the OPs credentials or capability to do what this job requires. The point is that it doesn't seem Luke Smith can do his job either as the director is responsible for the creative vision and delivery of the game and this one lost over 8 million players for that allegedly creative vision that CEOs and company heads appoint directors to produce.

Bruh... He desgined VOG, he was the creative lead for TTK and for the main campaign of D2 (which many of you loved, it's the ENDGAME loot we had a problem with). He didn't make the call to nerf subclass trees. If you can show me evidence where it was his idea to give non-raiding clan members raid rewards and people who've never played cruible trials rewards I'll cry foul with you. If you can prove it was his idea to hand out max power to everyone without working for it... I'll grab a pitchfork too.

no accountability, no management over my head, just sit back in a big office and chill all day long. Dude, I can totally do that, I might even make a pot of coffee if I feel like being productive. *sips tea, hehe

When you are ready for real work I got a box of #2 pencils that need sharpening. 👍

Sitting on my arse all day eating Krispy Kreme? Piece of piss!
-
Sounds about right. I'm sure that's all he did as far as making destiny 1 and 2.
-
James McQuillan was the director of Destiny. I'm sure Luke Smiths only influence during the first outing was for the VoG and Taken King Raids. You are correct about him being the director of the second game and between him, Mark Noseworthy and Jon Weisenewski they've managed to nosedive the franchise. Give em' a clap!

That sounds good..... footsteps....... me in the car...... Krispy Kreme in five minutes.... YUMMY
