Wow this is dumb...
Got on D2 after a week or two of not playing wanted to check out the faction rally. Checked out each faction vender and thought wow this is dumb... weapons and gear are pointless I don't even know who to side with.
I went with New Monarchy passed favorite.
Wanted to do some flash points for some quick easy tokens and mile stone then saw it was Mercury. I thought wow this is dumb this place has only one PE and it doesn't occur that often.
So I did a strike instead. Mehhh
After the strike I went to Mercury hopefully I could -blam!- around a bit and a PE would occur. I thought to myself this seems pretty dumb, but -blam!- it.
I noticed the mile stone it changed to where you would kill protectors and conquers. So I managed to find a vehicle to drive in and endless circle to kill P's and C's. I did this for a bit and still no PE. I thought to myself this is pretty dumb. So I kept driving around and around and around. My fiance must have been watching some what because she said why do you keep driving around and around in the same location. I told her because I'm waiting for something. Then she said wow that's pretty dumb.... I was like yes it is and turned of the my Xbox.
So bungo thank you for the dumbest faction rally ever your game is shit.
Wow that was dumb of me to buy the season pass.

Makes me sad because she use to watch me play D1 and enjoyed it but puke smith made this game for his -blam!-ing stupid 4 year old nieces i just read in an interview with the useless -blam!-.

1 ReplyIn fairness it alwaus said you should kill protectors and..... whatever the other guys are. Yeah it's still tedious though. It takes about the same time as other weeks but at least you can have fun doing public events. That being said watching people 'grind' is tedious so not sure what 'your partner' ever thought was fun watching you play previously. Do some strikes in between farming mercury. I'm also baffled why people such as you complain this game is boring when you deliberately play it boring. I don't think I'll ever write a thread saying, " I sat in Sirens Watch for 3 hours looking for alkine spores. This game is boring".

2 RepliesHaving one public event on mercury makes the flashpoint there a massive grind. To be honest that map is such a clustered mess of yellow bars. It feels like they just decided to see how many yellow bar mobs they could get on one of the smallest maps.

The timing for public events has always been shit since D1 but got better and now half the time they never happen again. I honestly think on top of nerfing the event rewards they nerfed the timing too.
